I bought the ladder shelf to use to display my collection of Nativities at Christmas. All the parts where they and they added a small bag with extra parts. All of the pieces and bags were clearly marked and the instructions to assemble were easy and clear. I did need the two extra shelves as I stripped out one, and another had no inset for the alum tool. All of the holes lined up really well and the product overall is well made. It went together quickly and I just used the alum wrenches they supplied. So it took a bit of time, but only because I did it the old school way to make sure I didn’t go to hard on the screws. The shelf is sturdy and o planned on storing it in my garage when not using it for Christmas, but have decided to put it in my craft/sewing room and it can hold projects I’m working on as it takes up very little space.

The shelving unit is attractive, sturdy with correct pieces, but a small, necessary allen wrench was left out and one of the metal supports was duplicated rather than being two correct opposing ones. I got the unit together without being able to put two of the larger bolt screws in. Quality control was lacking here. I hope the other similar unit I ordered will be without issues. Amazon one on the one hand asked me to contact the supplier which I did, but then advised me not to give them my address, so I could not resolve any issue other than return it which luckily I didn't have to by buying a replacement allen wrench set separately. Beware if purchasing this item.
