This is an amazing piece at this amazing price. I ordered two for my apartment to flank my tv stand. They are super cute, super solid and super versatile, holding items in a large range of sizes. They are not a brass-like gold, but more or a painted gold with slight metallic look to it, which matched the legs on my tv stand well. It is quite heavy when delivered so you may need more than one person or a dolly to move, and it takes a while to assemble (so put on your patience pants). Is it a $2000 brass bookshelf made by artisans - nope - but is it worth double to triple what I paid - yes!! I would definitely buy these again! ... show more

Really great shelf for the price. The gold is a little darker than I wanted, but it still blends nicely. It was super easy to put together and everything was very sturdy. The glass shelves are thick and slide in nicely. It came in the perfect size to fit in my daughter's small corner.

Durable and strong. I wanted warm colors for my living room and got 2 of these. These shelves are gorgeous. Had them for over a year and i can’t complain. My dad helped to assemble them and i recommend having help if your not super handy

This shelf looks great in my bathroom, and it is the perfect size to hold spare towels. I also really like finish - it’s not a bright brassy gold, but slightly muted with a slight sheen, and goes very well with the champagne bronze fixtures in my bathroom. For the price, the shelf is five stars. But the assembly was not as effortless as it could have been.Took about 30 minutes to assemble - I used a power drill with an allen bit so it would have taken longer to assemble if I had used the small Allen wrench that comes with the shelf. There are a lot of screws to screw in and it took a bit of doing to start the screws, as the metal frame was not threaded well. It took me a good five minutes, just to unpack everything and over 10 minutes to get all of the little stickers off (every piece you need for assembly has a small round sticker to indicate the step in the assembly process - makes assembly pretty easy, but peeling off the stickers was a pain). It would’ve been nice if the adhesive was a lighter adhesive because the stickers definitely left residue on the glass, but at least the stickers are small. It took effort and patience to peel up these stickers from all of the leg and frame pieces. The instructions were also not super clear for the first step - due to the angle of the line art drawing in the instructions, it’s not obvious which corners the B legs and C legs screw into, and if you don’t put them incorrectly, the holes on the legs won’t be aligned to screw in the shelf. The holes need to be facing the long side of the shelf. But other than the hassle of assembly, I’m happy with the shelf. It’s the perfect size for my bathroom, the finish matches the fixtures in my bathroom, and it’s sturdy. ... show more

Do I like these shelves? I love these shelves. I have 3 sets which I use in my plant room. I've attached plant lights and the glass shelves allow light to go through to plants below. The directions are accurate and assembly is not complicated. This 78yr old lady had no problem. They are sturdy and I appreciate the versatility and sometimes remove a short shelf to make room for a taller plant. I was surprised by the capacity and how many plants I could showcase.     • Wrong parts & Amazon Return Policy Sucks

This is a piece of crap. Four of the same side corner pieces (bars) were sent resulting in the inability to attach the shelves in 2 corners because the holes are facing outwards instead of inside as needed. Totally useless and a waste of money. Of course, it's 3 days past the date I am able to return it to Amazon. I moved into a new place and just now had the time to try to put it together. To make it worse, the screws are extremely difficult to screw in without using an electric screwdriver which even if the company sent me the correct parts, I would be unable to unscrew the pieces I need to replace. I want my money back. I can't believe there is only a 30 day return policy on this item. I will definitely order from Walmart from now on. ... show more
