WARNING! You will NOT assemble this with the L shaped allen wrench they provide. The screws that go thru the bracing into the wooden shelves have hex shaped grooves that ARE TOO SHALLOW. The wrench will keep slipping out of the screw as you tighten and in the process begin to strip it out. Fortunately, I had a Black & Decker electric screwdriver and a set of hex heads for it. The 5/32 head is the one that works. That said, you will still need a bit of elbow grease to put this together. PROS : This is a fabulous bookcase! It is well made. The sections fit together perfectly. It is super sturdy and looks great. This is exactly what I was looking for and would buy again. Note to the manufacturer: Even if you deepen the hex holes in the screw heads it will take an enormous amount of physical effort to drive the screws by hand into the wooden shelves. Advise shoppers they will need an electric screwdriver + 5/32 hex head. ... show more

First I want to say I’ve purchased from Vasagle before a coat rack and shoe rack so my expectations were high. These didn’t disappoint! Sturdy and looks great. It was fairly easy to assemble (10 minutes) and all the hardware was there for once. No wood glue or little wood dowels that come with some of this stuff-just screws together and you’re done.

These are FANTASTIC! I downsized to a 950 sq ft home and I’ve had to get creative with storage. I bought 2 of these to house my collectible horses. They have a small footprint so I figured they would work well. Well, I’m in love! The instructions lack any text, but are super easy to follow anyway. The shelves are pretty sturdy - they would hold books, too, although I’m not sure what the weight limit is on these. The metal frames are a nice brushed black and the seams blend very well together. The shelves look much higher end than the price suggests; they’re a rich brown and super flat with a nice solid weight to them. The pieces and screws (product comes with a hex key that fits all screws so you don’t use any of your own tools!) fit together perfectly. I had no problem aligning any of the pre-drilled holes and screws. And for $50-$60?! You can hardly beat that. I highly recommend! ... show more
