This review is for the desk and Vari customer service. First, the desk arrived quickly, and it was beautiful. Heavy and sturdy, well constructed, and pretty easy to put together. Raising and lowering the desk was very smooth, didn't disturb contents on top of the desk. The only issue was one of personal preference. My husband did not like that the desk tapered at the end, because he keeps his arms parallel to the floor when he types rather than rest them on the side of the desk. So, we had to deconstruct and pack everything for a return, which was a pretty easy process with Vari. They gave us the option of a FedEx pickup at our home, rather than having to take it to a FedEx store, which is fantastic customer service because those boxes are HEAVY, as I said before. And the refund came after they received and inspected the package. Other than this one issue my husband was picky with, I would highly recommend the desk and the company. ... show more

I was reluctant at first to spend this amount of money on a computer desk but I’m very pleased and happy with what I purchased. The quality was beyond my expectations. Everything is heavy. I had brief enjoyment watching the delivery guy struggle with this. LOL! The best part about this table, EASY TO PUT TOGETHER! I thought it would be a million screws and would take me a while to put together, I was wrong. It basically already comes together. Just pop the legs on and screw in a few screws and that’s it! It functions great! The height adjustment function works great, really well made and can barely hear anything when it operates. As far as the size, it seems to measure up! went for the larger size since I was paying a lot of money regardless, had to make it worth it. It comes with 2 hooks! I use one hook for a headset holder and the other hook to hold cables up from behind. There really isn’t anything under the table to hold any wires out of the way but the hook works! I will be adding an additional monitor to my amazing new Vari computer table. Oh and this thing is silky smooth! They were not lying about the premium laminate, amazing quality. The curved edge is absolutely a necessity when gaming, my forearms are thanking me already! All around I love this computer desk so much and have zero regrets spending what I spent for this. 🙇🏻 ... show more

Our adult son has Autism and needed a new desk for his mancave. My husband found this 48x30 one, which was the perfect size. The reclaimed wood is perfect for his room because his tv stand and bookcase are dark but his loveseat is light beige. Assembly for the desk was fairly easy; setting up the base for the monitor took hubby longer because of the smaller parts/screws. Like many, I read a ton of reviews and this company always found itself near or at the top of the list. I went with Vari because they offered a 60x24 desk option and everyone said it was easy to setup (absolutley true). Added bonus for supporting a Taiwanese company! First thing you notice is how heavy and dense the table top is. The laminate coating is superb and the overall desk screams quality. Now I made some modifications to the desk since I have particular needs regarding cable management and I was putting it in my office closet. Which led me to notch the corners to get it to fit just right (I know right?! cutting an 800 dollar desk! Made me sweat a bit). Measure twice, cut once! Used a hacksaw with a good blade and took my time. I gave myself a half inch extra room from the wall for the notch but could have gone to a quarter inch because this desk is sooooo sturdy. Not a bit of wobble, so I know it isn't hitting the wall ever. I also added cheap cable trays underneath and screwed them into the wood. I went this route because the proprietary option was too small for my needs. My route worked great, just make sure you use the right screws. Then I used some gorilla tape to secure a power supply to the bottom. The result is a nice tidy desk and I freaking love it. This desk is definitely worth the price tag ... show more
