I’ve worn Vans for years, but these are easily the most comfortable pair I’ve ever owned. I’m on my feet 10+ hours a day on concrete floors, and these keep my feet completely pain-free. The cushioning is way better than the classic slip-ons, and they stay supportive even after long shifts. One thing that really surprised me is the grip. I get water on the ground constantly at work, and I haven’t slipped once in these. They’ve handled wet floors, quick turns, and long walks without any issues. They fit true to size, break in fast, and the slip-on style is perfect for daily wear. After switching to this style, I honestly don’t see myself buying anything else for work. Impressed straight outta the box! Fan of Vans for many years now and when I saw these and that they are perforated leather slip-ons I immediately added them to my cart. Then I hopped on over to Vans website ,like I am sure many do. Shop around and get reviews; save up and buy the shoes. The shoes run a bit large so sizing down is what I would recommend. I usually wear a 6 in 90% of shoes and I ordered a 5.5. I could have even gone down to a 5 but I like to wear socks so I wanted to leave room for that, and it did so perfectly. Just to note: I have these hard nodules on the soles of my feet from chemo and padding on the soles of shoes has to be better than average to absorb some pressure so it does not hurt me to walk and stand. Back to the review:Again, out of the box I am impressed with the try on —->I would have bought these if I tried them on in a store<—- For sock-less wear size down 1 whole shoe size, for sock-wearer go down .5 a size. The leather smelled so good when I opened the box. The materials used are high quality. Matte white perforated leather that is easy to look at and very soft. The sole is thick rubber so that feels reals nice. The shoe has a little weight on it but not bothersome. New leather has to break in but they feel nice. Can’t wait until the leather breaks in a bit and takes form to my feet. Hope I get a long wear from these. For reference I am 4’10” 125lbs *** edit after wearing*** the left shoe is slipping off my foot. The right fits like a glove. Returning for a second pair. ... show more
