I LOVE these shoes. First of all, I purchased them fro weightlifting. Converse all-stars seem to be the go-to shoe for most weightlifters, but they are far too narrow for me. I don't usually buy wide width, but Converse are really narrow. These shoes fit perfectly; they are very comfortable. They have the flat non-compressible sole that I was looking for. Not only that, but I noticed that the converse that I tried had some sort of felt on the bottom (so they don't squeak, maybe?) which made them slide on hard flooring. In contrast, the Vans have a rubber bottom that gets great traction. This makes me feel so much more stable when lifting weights. I was also a little surprised by how cute they are; I may just wear these outside of the gym too!

Good shoes, just be aware they are NOT women's sizes...always go down 1 1/2 sizes to fit your true women's size. i.e. womens 10 is equal to men's 8.5

the shoes fit perfect and they are comfortable but the only thing the leather on the back hits the back of the ankle but alittle trick when the shoe is on bend the back and its good to go and other than that they are great

I got this shoe for my daughter and she loved it! I got it half a size bigger thinking it would fit like the lo pro vans. But it fits a little larger, so I am thinking that the shoe is actually true to it's size. But my daughter likes her shoes that way because it's more comfortable. She wears the shoes for 8 hours straight, everyday for school and hasn't complained. So that is great news. The shoe looks as good as the picture. Very happy with my purchase. Fast shipping as well. Love the shoe, but the size was a bit small for my GF, who is usually an 8. Shoes fit to some extent, but she needed to wear very thin socks in order to have them fit as expected. I would recommend going a half-size up to accommodate regular cotton crew socks or other standard thickness socks.
