Seems identical to the Vans I had before, only possible difference being a little more sturdy construction, lasted about 6 months with heavy walking & skating. Best shoes for longboarding I've found, you can feel the board really well and the soles hold up to grip tape for a while

These are fine sturdy sneakers that can double as office shoes because they are all black. I do a LOT of walking, and I find that a pair lasts for a year or so, but not much more.
