I really love this bra. I know bras are a highly individualized thing, and just because it works for one person doesn't necessarily mean it will work for another's unique shape, but the materials are good quality. I love the silky material that glides on my skin and doesn't stick to clothing. The underwire also doesn't poke into the side of my boob, or underarm. This is a deal breaker!! The wider bra back design helps to not exacerbate "bra bulge." I tend to go up one band size in any bra, and this helps as well. I'm a 36 or 38 depending on the brand but will buy a 38 or a 40 so it isn't so tight around my body that it creates more pronounced bulges. I had this bra almost exclusively for many years in the 36B. Now post-menopausal, my boobs have changed shape and I've gained weight so had to change to a 38D but even with all my changes this bra is the best fit and the most comfortable one for me on the market ( I tried on 42 bras one day at a major retailer to prove this to myself). Do yourself a favor a try this underwire style on in the store before buying online. I tried several combinations of band and cup sizes before finding the perfect fit. I am short and the straps can adjust tightly enough for petites.The straps also adjust starting from the front, which is genius. Why did that take so many years to figure out?! I also tried wireless bras for a couple of years, but couldn't deal with the lack of lift and the "uniboob" shape they gave me. I always ended up with rashes because the girls didn't have enough lift and separation. This bra will hold everything properly in place without hurting you, I promise! Just keep at it until you find your correct size.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this bra comfort and fit wise, but I decided to give it a try. Most of my life, I've been a VS customer, but over the past several years, I found the VS bras to be less comfortable, more expensive and I began experiencing sizing issues. Not a good combination, and yes, some of the VS bras are for longer wear and not just 10 minutes and then it flies off. Anyway, I began looking for an alternative, and after lots of searching, I decided to give Vanity Fair's full coverage a try. I'm so happy I did. This bra is the most comfortable bra I've owned in years; I'm in love. It's well made, smooth under clothing, it actually cradles the breast as it should and covers properly (no squeezing or cutting), and it's very soft against the skin. Wonderful product, and please believe me when I say that once you've worn a not so great bra that does nothing in the way of comfort or support, and you find a different bra does that does everything right, you'll want the better bra. It exceeded my expectations, and now I plan to be a loyal customer. So long VS, I'm going with a better model that actually looks and feels great, and is more affordable. Thank you Vanity Fair for a wonderful product, and please continue to keep your high quality standards, in doing so I'll be a customer for life and I recommend this product to every woman who's dreamed of having a bra that feels good, looks good, lifts and supports and is affordable. Oh, and I was NOT PAID or GIVEN A DISCOUNT for my review. I paid full price; my review is because I love the bra.

Here's an update to the wire bra - I'm not wearing it anymore; after awhile the wire pokes through the fabric and pokes me so I switched to the Vanity Fair Women's Wireless Full Coverage Beauty Back Smoothing Bra, 4-Way Stretch Fabric, Lightly Lined Cups. Same brand and style but without the wire. Much more comfortable; soft, supportive, no poking; same V shape front/back adjustable straps so straps stay on shoulders; This is the one for me. Awesome bra! For the first time in my entire life (an I'm in my 70's) I finally found a bra that works for my body. Design is everything! This bra was designed by someone with a brain! The straps are such that they form a slight V in the back and as they come over shoulder they connect to form another slight V in front; in this way the straps NEVER slip off of my shoulders! How smart is that? I think VERY SMART! The cups are loosely separated in the front so, if you have breasts that point outward (like me), each cup supports each breast SEPARATELY, so the fit is comfortable, and the breasts are not squeezed together unnaturally, but rather are supported in their natural direction. The underwire supports the cup and the overall breast shape. The band that goes around the body is wide and soft so it doesn't dig into or leave marks on your skin. The bra is made with a soft stretchy material and has no seams anywhere! The adjustable straps are also soft with some stretch. The underwires do not cut into the skin and are completely covered with the same soft material. Nothing sags. A perfect fit prevents excess skin from bulging outside of the bra itself. The bras launder beautifully; I use a zip bag to wash my delicate items, and I wash the bras with the rest of my delicate washing machine load, in cold water, & hang dry. I never put in the dryer. These bras last for years. I am 5-9 and weigh 119 pounds; I ordered a 34B and it fits perfectly; not too loose, not too tight. When I first wear a brand new bra, I lower the strap adjustments a bit and always hook in the back to the last hook pair. Then as time goes on, maybe in a few years, I will start using the middle hook pair. So you can see these bras last a long time. Initially I bought 1 bra to try it out, then later 2 more, and just recently I bought 2 more. I'm set for quite a while now! The hook and eyes in the back are black, the front strap adjustments are brass, and in the middle of the front is nice little touch of a tiny black ribbon bow connected to a tiny piece of brass. Very classy! So, all of this to say, not only do I feel comfortable, but I also feel very special. Thank you Vanity Fair! Oh yes, and thank you Amazon! The bras were well packaged and arrived within the specific delivery time. Great job!
