This is the violin that I finished setting up, the violin was packed very securely even before I opened it. As described, it is handmade and made of solid wood, at first I didn't care about that but after receiving the violin, I believed it to be true. You can see the wood grain very clearly inside the violin that I took a picture of. In addition, I was surprised to see a handwritten number on the bridge, which proves that it is handmade. I didn't expect too much from a violin ordered from Amazon at first, but after a while of feeling it, I found it more than worth its price. From the sound, material to packaging, everything is at a good level, nothing was damaged during transportation. The case is also very sturdy. This is a violin set that is completely suitable for beginners or advanced players, it comes with all the accessories you need. If you want to try a new instrument, this is your PERFECT CHOICE. Honestly, I was SUPER SURPRISED with this violin. (It is not uncommon for violin strings to slip during tuning. You can fix this by applying rosin to the tuning pegs, or simply push the tuning pegs into the drilled holes to help them stay in place. You can also use the pegs on the bottom of the violin to adjust instead of the pegs).

I'm a beginner ar violin. I started playing on a 3/4 size and wanted a full sized one. I had low expectations as this outfit is very cheap but I was surprised. It isn't a very high quality but it is much much higher than I had expected. Everything came fully intact. Has a very nice and smooth sound to the violin. I don't like how the rosin has a u shape to the top as it makes it a little hard to rosin the bow. All in all, very good purchase for beginners

This violin is very nice. I haven't played in a while since I was in high school. I wanted to pick it up again. My old violin needed a little work to do on it so I decided to buy a new one. I play just for fun and maybe in church. I noticed that I have to be very careful not to touch other strings while playing. I believe the bridge might have the strings just a tiny bit closer than they should be together. Other than that I really do not have any complaints. The whole kit is great. It has everything I need. A extra bridge, extra strings, shoulder rest (a little cheaply made), a mute, cleaning cloth, and a really good rosin (I like the dark rosin). I just really enjoy being able to play again. I did not need an expensive violin.

Item is as described. I bought this for my 8 year old: she has never played, changes her mind about learning things frequently, and is rough with toys. I bought this to see how responsible she could be with something like this before buying something more... 'expensive'. I had low expectations of it and was shocked at what I received. I have not tried the auto-tuner yet, but the violin itself is very nice and works great if you're just starting and not sure if you want to commit. It came with everything you need to start, including a case. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I picked up this violin as a beginner set, and I’ve been really impressed with what you get for the price. The violin itself feels solid and well‑made, not like a cheap toy, and the sound is surprisingly warm once it’s tuned up. The kit comes with everything you need to get started — case, bow, rosin, tuner — which made the whole process a lot less intimidating. It’s definitely geared toward beginners, but that’s exactly what I needed. Easy to set up, comfortable to hold, and perfect for learning the basics without spending a fortune. If you’re just starting out or buying for a student, this is a great choice.

Not bad for a beginner. Biggest complaint is tuning pegs slip very easily. Although it makes my kid have to tune it repeatedly, so they’re getting really good at that part and are developing their ear at the same time.
