The sun sets in the big window of our guest bedroom, and we often needed to filter it, during the day. These curtains work very well. West setting afternoon sunshine (in Florida) can be brutal and you can see how closing the curtains help with that. Love these curtains. Bought 14 panels for screened porch, and they hang beautifully. Very nice! Good weight, especially for the price. Only problem was there were lots of dirty spots and nasty smears on many of the panels. But are fine after washing them. I am in the process of making a spare room into a home gym, and did not want the bifold doors we originally had. I was looking for a cheap, fast fix. Enter my amazon addiction...I found these curtains. They were cheap, so I thought if it doesn't work, I'll just figure out something else. I have say I really like them. They're definitely thicker than I thought they'd be, but no means black out shades. I used them over the closet. The are pretty decently made, not that they could be a scarlett o'hara dress, but for how cheap they are, I am impressed. I chose white due to the color of the room, and they are definitely bright white, not sure how the other colors are though. Buy these and you'll get your money worth. ... show more
