The Van Mark Trim-A-Brake II siding brake is a great entry level utility brake, perfect for doing small projects and maintenance work. This lightweight brake requires little setup or maintenance and is perfect for contractors who are constantly on the go. The Trim-A-Brake II is versatile, portable and affordable. The Trim-A-Brake II offers a 13” throat depth, a material stop for repeat bends, a unique toggle-lock handle and protective vinyl strip. Rigid “I” beam base rails help keep the brake calibrated, reducing the need to make adjustments. A full loop handle ensures a uniform bend along the entire piece. Full loop handle allows for straighter, more even bends and is ideal for bending full 8ft.+ length pieces. Bending Capacities: Aluminum (3003H14) - .019", Roofing Copper - 16 oz.

I've been a contractor for over 30 years so I kind of knew what I was purchasing when I ordered the metal brake it's a very good piece of equipment sturdy well-built however I didn't get an instruction book wish I think it should have had one good thing I knew how to work it and number two is the first day not even 4 hours into work the lock down handle broke so I had to take it off and weld it and it was over a week late so I had to rent one to get that job done They are a outstanding company so I am sure they will make it right. Its a real turd. Don't get this. Doesn't bend 1/2 and the clamp lever is a real pain to use efficently.
