Look, I'm a big guy. Correction... I'm a big, overweight guy. I'm 5' 11" and well over 300 pounds. So a porky like me needs a bathrobe that is not only stylish and comfortable, but fits with room to spare. I have had several bathrobes over the last few years that kinda do the job, but aren't quite long enough. Nor have ample room around the stomach once tied in the front. However, THIS robe from Van Heusen is absolutely perfect for me! It fits great without being too droopy or ill-fitting. I love the length and the cozy fit. Well worth the money and I would highly recommend. Especially for the bigger fellas. I feel like Saks Fifth Avenue rich when I wear it. Not like Dollar General Trailer Park poor. Which I feel like most of the time. But not in this bathrobe! Bring me my copy of the New Yorker and some caviar, Jeeves!

I got this for my husband, and he loves it. He is 6' tall and typically an XXL or XLT depending on the brand (only has a belly, no fat anywhere else), and this is so oversized and cozy that we can both cuddle up into it. It is longer on him than shown on the model. He likes the big fit - he is a creature of comfort. If you want a more tailored fit and are just on the verge of being XXL, you may be able to size down but honestly unsure since they only do a singular standard sizing or the 2X-3X version. It is super soft (softer than my LL Bean robe), has pockets... Only thing that would improve this for him would be having a hood for when we're out on our porch in our robes on cold mornings.

I ordered this in a size 2x-3x for my plus size king and it is so cozy and soft. It fits perfectly and he finds it very comfortable. He is pretty much wearing this constantly for the last few days when he is at home. He calls it his security robe (like a security blanket). He says that he has never owned a robe before. Men if you haven't owned a robe before you need one, especially going into chilly season. This is really nice and would make a great present.

I really like this robe. It is super comfortable. It absorbs the post-shower moisture like a champ. It is warm, but not too warm. Great replacement for a robe that I've had for years and feels durable enough to last for a number of years.

My wife bought me a huge, fluffy terrycloth bathrobe a few years ago, but I don't often wear it because it weighs a ton. This bathrobe is all poly fleece, which is warm, luxurious feeling, and all the weight of my terrycloth robe. Sorry, Honey! I like this one better!
