If you're a competitive or otherwise serious runner, you probably pegged a running shoe brand years ago. This review is for the weekend warrior/new runner: LOOK ELSEWHERE! Take it from me: as someone who ran competitively and recreationally years after that, stick with a name brand designed for running! These shoes will kill your knees and feet as the do not provide the cushioning and protection that true running shoes provide. There is no real lateral support, nor is there adequate cushioning to absorb the pounds of force you will experience. The above notwithstanding, these shoes are mildly comfortable so long as they are not subject to too much stress, e.g. running. They are suited for working out at the gym or short trips to the mall. I like the shoes, but now that Amazon doesn't sent their shoes in a box, the heel is crushed and the toe of the shoe is smashed in too. It does eventually pop back into shape. I do like them.
