I love wearing things that are different, so when I saw these- I knew I had to have them. Unfortunately though, they didn’t meet my expectations. The monster fur (as we called it when I had a coat made out of this material in the late ‘90s) is as pictured- cute & very soft, but that’s about where the positives end. They are huge and they look huge, it’s like wearing an oversized Christmas stocking or a child’s drawing of a boot haha. The boot itself only goes up halfway (the rest is just the fur material with no structure) and feels like it’s made out of flattened styrofoam packing peanuts. The sole is plastic, *completely* flat (no arch, no heel, no support whatsoever) and is the thinnest I’ve ever seen on a shoe… besides maybe a ballet slipper? (See my pic- that’s the entire thing, there’s no more sole hidden under the fur.) They’re about four times as much as they should be considering the quality, sadly. I’m positive I’ll come up with a Halloween costume (is there a goth Muppet?) one day that incorporates these so that they can have their moment, but before then I think they’ll just be tucked away & living in the back of my closet.

The media could not be loaded. This pair of boots completely exceeded my expectations! The black color is very textured and not easy to get dirty. It is comfortable to wear, has a strong wrapping but does not squeeze the feet, and is stable to walk in. It does not make you tired even if you wear it for a long time. It looks good with a long skirt, shorts or a jacket. You will get a lot of attention when you wear it out. I recommend buying it!
