I didn’t have issues with smell or funny tasting water like some reviews mentioned. I did have issues with the bottle losing its shape. There is a button on the cap that when pressed let’s air in but it can just as easily be squeezed back out. I put this bottle in my bottle holder on my bike rack and the bottle fell out because it wouldn’t hold its shape from being squeezed and clamped down by the bottle rack. I ended up having to put the bottle in upside down because the cap will keep shape. I wouldn’t not recommend this bottle for bike rides. I do love the squeeze to drink feature and love how the bottle rolls up. It’s very convenient for travel! I will pack it for my next flight. ... show more

I had seen this water bottle on a few YouTuber's channels. I bought it for a quick trip to the beach. Great bottle for TSA through security because it collapses easy. Then after, you can fill with and have water for the plane that you don't have pay for. I like my color (Pink) and the air release valve helps keep it sturdy while drinking. No leaks and very easy to clean. To remove the "weird" taste, follow the enclosed directions of putting hot lemon water in the bottle. Haven't had any trouble with it. I purchased this for traveling as I figured after I got through airport security I could fill at the drinking fountain which I did. So I had it completely collapsed before security. Filled it after security screening and was able to take on the plane. You need to tip it back and suck a bit to drink. Not a big deal at all. It does start to collapse as you drink but again as long as you expect it that’s not a big deal either. A slight amount of water stays at the top. I love this! I bought it in pink and blue to carry some liquids in checked bags on a flight. I put the liquid inside, squeezed out some air (to allow it to expand when in the air) and put it inside 2 ziplock gallon sized baggies to make sure that if it leaked, it wouldn't get on the rest of the luggage. But NO leaks. I'm very happy with this! I would definitely buy this again! I sterilized it by boiling for 10 minutes before the first use. There was no taste imparted to my liquids. Love these bottles. At first the water did appear to smell a little but with a few washes, the water seemed no different in or out of the bottle. We ordered 4 different color and two came with carabiner clips while 2 did not. We have not had problems with the straps breaking but we only use them when the cups need to be stored. ... show more

Got this for a 2 week trip to Scotland. It worked out great--clips on backpack, As water level lessens the bottle allows more space. Light weight. I like the way I can add air back if I want it to sit on a table. Never leaked. Only downside--We had trouble getting the plastic taste out.
