First of all, I measure this to hold 25oz, not 21. Way to underpromise and over deliver! Also, it's safe past 100°C, so boiling water is good to go. I've owned bottles of the same style by Kremier that I bought through Amazon nearly 4years now. They're awesome. But these are slightly bigger. I love the color. And they've improved the silicone strap for wrapping the bottle up — they've added bumo that helps it stay in position longer. The silicone often gets people's attention, and I don't understand how more people don't love these bottles. As long as they are dropped on the silicone, they are basically shatter proof. You can forget them in the freezer or or a frozen car and they won't explode, and you can pour steaming hot tea inside if you wish and won't diffuse any gross plastics into your drink. The bottle collapses when you're done, it's leak proof, and the air equalization pump is fun to play with. (Though if you accidentally press the pump in with your nose while holding it upside down over your face, whatever your drinking will flow through it instead of air lol) Great concept. Accident proof. Sports enhancing. Excellent, simple design. 5 stars. As a bonus: when the cap is flipped up, you can squeeze these bottles to launch a steam at someone as if it were a squirt gun. Had a very fun time ambushing a buddy with these as a makeshift watergun in yellowstone. Note to the designers: I'd like a version with a reinforced hinge for the plastic cover; in my experience that's where these bottles tend to break after a couple years of wear and tear. The bottle stays fine, of course. They just lose the ability to seal valve or spout from dirt, or from leaking when the bottle is squeezed hard enough. As I said, the bottle can still be used, but once that hinge breaks, it can't really be casually be thrown in a gym bag or onto the back seat after that as it might lak if something squeezes it or presses it wrong.

I took this bottle on vacation to Paris, France and Italy. It was great and lightweight. I filled it a quarter way and froze it then added my water for the day. It was easy to hold on to or clip to your bag. Durable, lightweight, wide mouth to put ice in. Great product

This water bottle really has a lot going for it. I like the lid that keeps the drinking spout clean. I love the button that lets in air so the bottle will stand upright. I like that it is lightweight and collapsible. Ice would melt in 2 hours or less so you have to be ok with room temp water. I guess you could fill it partially full and freeze it. I didn't try that. There was a learning curve to figuring out how to drink from it. It was the same principle as feeding a baby a bottle. If liquid is not completely covering the spout you will inhale air and can choke. What I didn't like was the taste. I read the Q&A and reviews - so I filled my bottle with baking soda and boiling water and let it sit for 24 hours. Then I ran it through the dishwasher as well. I didn't notice any problems with the taste during the day. I left it by the bed overnight and took a drink out of it the next morning and it tasted bad. I rinsed it out thoroughly and refilled with new water an ice. It still tasted bad as the water came to room temp. This was almost perfect. If only they could fix the taste issue...

This was a great purchase. I originally bought it for my son who was going to France and England for his senior trip. He also used it in Disney and said it worked perfectly, no leaks or spillage. I was afraid that it may have had a smell to it when I first opened it, but nothing. I used it when going on a hike and it was easy to fill and rolled up nice when it was empty. I read some reviews that said it tipped over but I didn’t have that issue.

GARBAGE! The product info claims this bottle is unbreakable and super durable, but that’s far from true and I could not be more furious. I bought this at the end of January to add to my hiking kit. I’m an avid hiker and novice backpacker, and I thought a collapsible bottle would be useful when traveling on backpacking trips since the ability to save space is key. I was happy with the bottle when I received it and it looked perfect. I then put it away carefully in a closet where I store my hiking and backpacking gear. It stayed there until now (early April). To my shock, I took this bottle out of the closet to use, only two Kong’s after I bought it, and it had a massive tear in it. I hadn’t touched it since I purchased it, but somehow it developed a tear. I don’t know how this happened but a bottle that claims to withstand freezing and boiling should be able to sit safely in a temperate closet. I can’t even get a refund or replacement because the window expired. I literally just put money in the garbage. Others have had great experiences and that’s wonderful, but I’m livid that this product failed without ever even having been used and barely touched. JUST IN CASE, BUY SOMETHING ELSE!!!

Followed what some buyers/ reviewers did to avoid smelly / awful taste. Wash the item with soap and water. Use medium hot water, add juice from one lemons, let it stand for 10-15 mins. Throw the water away. Then add plain water with juice from one lemon again and let it stand overnight or at least 12 hours. Shake the jug with the water stil in it and rinse. Filled the jug with fresh water, water still taste lemony but good. No awful taste as some reviewers have mentioned. So far, it’s good taking it with me to work, then roll it with the band that came with it when empty. Will buy again in different color.
