They work really well for walking to go swimming. My only complaint is that they are thin so walking on really bumpy surfaces isn't as comfortable as some water shoes and the top of the shoes are tight on my toes. This said I found that they stayed on really well and didn't drag or weigh down as much as other water shoes. I have been on a long hunt for some good quality water shoes for both the lake and the ocean. The problem I keep running into is they don’t fit very snug or they have holes big enough for gravel and sand and dirt to get in which makes the shoes very uncomfortable. These cheap shoes are actually far better than some very pricey pairs I have bought. They feel almost like you were going barefoot, but with just enough protection on the bottom that walking on rocks doesn’t hurt. I find they fit very comfortable, and they stay in place after a whole day in the water , they dry pretty quick and best of all we’ve use these at the lake and at the ocean and I have yet to get any sand or tiny gravel bits inside. I got a pair of these to try for gardening as I prefer to be barefoot but I have to many sticks and stuff in my yard. These are perfect.
