SUPER sturdy. Like, know exactly where you want it because once you stick it on something, it’s not coming off. Perfect size for typical paper towel rolls, but I use mine for my reusable towel roll and it looks and works great!

I liked the idea of using adhesive instead of putting holes in the cabinetry and it has held so securely that I wouldn't realize it was adhesive rather than screws holding it in place if I hadn't installed it myself. The only reason I bought this paper towel holder was because it had both screws and a strong adhesive option. I didn’t want to drill into my cabinets, so I just peeled the backing and stuck it in place — super easy. Just make sure you line it up exactly where you want it before pressing it down, because once it sticks, it really sticks. It’s not coming off easily if you place it wrong the first time. I was also nervous ordering “gold” because sometimes it can look too yellow or cheap, but this finish is a warm brushed tone and matches my champagne bronze hardware perfectly. Was great - until it wasn’t. The adhesive is very durable! The arm broke off after 5 months and there is no way to fix it. It seems like the arm was just pressed onto the stand - no glue / adhesive / weld, etc. Such a bummer because now I have to peel off the adhesive for a new product.
