The material is breathable. It reminds me of stretchy cotton because it’s thick and rigid but you can still bend down without being restricted. I’m not sure it will be liquid or wrinkle resistant. The only negative thing I have to say is about the sizing. It runs kind of big but only in the mid-section and top. The bottom of the top is super long and tighter than the rest of the top even though it has the slit. The bottom goes pass my butt. It just looks like it's drowning you. I wouldn’t size up even if you’re in between sizes. You could tuck it into the bottoms but that wouldn’t make sense because you have the two pockets in the front. Good quality material the only problem I have with this is the size it a little big some person may have to size down the material is thick to wash I will advise cold to mild water the appearance of the scrub is same as pictured overall I love ❤️ it.
