This one is absolutely flawless in operation ! Does what it is supposed to do. ONE THING I discovered when doing "test runs" along the way, before making permanent wiring connections, was that the red and black wires are reversed from those of the original motor (identical to this one). Temporary connections for a quick check, made the door operate in the opposite directions of correct travel. Reversing the red and black leads on the new cord-plug corrected all of this. Works great pushing straight up and down, but any amount of side load to the mounting point will break it off making this useless. I have broken two of these already and I’m outside of the warranty

Was louder when extending one direction then the other out of the box. Figured it was supposed to be like that. Nope, it stopped working in that “silent” direction all together. Junk.
