Bought to use in my home shop on my wood lathe tail stock. I’m ordering 2 more, one to use on the drive side and the other to replace the stock one on my ShopFox drill press. I use the USA Jacobs original at work, they are awesome but they also cost about $325. These are 1/10 the price and I would say 98% of the quality. Replaced the factory chuck and arbor that came with my brand new drill press with this one, the stock chuck and arbor that was supplied with my drill press was horrible as most are, what a difference, it’s night and day in performance. The one I installed has very little run out and the action on the chuck is buttery smooth. I can’t believe the cost of this compared to some more pricier options. As far as longevity, I don’t see this wearing out all to soon, the machining seems to be very good.
