These are the perfect fastener for installing or repairing metal roofing. 100 pack is a good quantity to work with. On a 20 x16 carport I used 3 packs. I used these for the framing and roofing of my carport. These were self tapping which saves you from having to predrill and has a rubber washer and you don't have to use caulking on each screw. The quality was excellent, I had 1 defective screw out of 300. The washers can be removed if not needed. ... show more

I’ve had good luck with these screws. Most recently, I used them to install some metal roofing panels on a shed I am building in the backyard. If you have a good angle they are self tapping but I found it easier to pound them through the metal before screwing them into the wood purlin.
