I purchased these for a project. I use mainly incandescent lights on my Christmas tree. I found the perfect slow twinkle lights but they are LED's. Warm white they are not. So I bought these to see if I could fit them over the lights. The fit was perfect but didn't effect the color. I used RIT dye, a shade of Rose Pink and Ecru and it worked great. You have to keep and eye on your dyebath or they will get too dark. Originally I used dark brown and Tangerine. It made a lovely Amber tone which I thought would work, but once on the light, it just looked yellow. Adding the pink did the trick. Also I cut the very tip off of the rubber cap because the lights looked better. I think that color mix may be different depending on your lights , but if LED"s bug you as much as they do me, this was a happy solution. ... show more

Good quality, as expected, fit perfectly, functional for what I needed it for. I used these for the ends of antenna whips. After melting down some heat shrink tubing, these fit over it and I waterproof it with a little glue. They have a variety of sizes and these are durable and good value.

So I decided to try these and they just didn't fit. I measured the male side and even though the material was a bit softer than a toggle pole, I thought I had the measurement very close. These are pretty snug and I didn't feel comfortable stretching these far enough to fit as they would never come off and I might waste a few getting them on. I decided the better decision would be to return them. The vendor allowed me to send them back through the UPS store (a 22 mile drive!) but it was my mistake. They feel like they're pretty good quality, and I did hear from a couple of people as to how well they thought they fit so I'll give them a thumbs up until I try another size and find out different. ... show more

These rubber end caps from uxcell are exactly what I needed to protect the ends of various projects — from bolts and screws to tubing and other hardware. They fit snugly, provide a clean finish, and do a great job of preventing damage, rust, or scratches on surrounding surfaces. The material feels durable and high-quality, with just the right amount of flexibility to make installation easy while staying securely in place. They really do perform exactly as described. The only small downside for my specific application is that they’re a bit longer than I expected. I’m hoping uxcell offers the same inner diameter size in a slightly shorter version, which would be a perfect fit for my needs. That said, these still work well and serve their purpose effectively.
