Good quality, as expected, fit perfectly, functional for what I needed it for. I used these for the ends of antenna whips. After melting down some heat shrink tubing, these fit over it and I waterproof it with a little glue. They have a variety of sizes and these are durable and good value.

    • Great to tone down overly bright LED string lights

I purchased these for a project. I use mainly incandescent lights on my Christmas tree. I found the perfect slow twinkle lights but they are LED's. Warm white they are not. So I bought these to see if I could fit them over the lights. The fit was perfect but didn't effect the color. I used RIT dye, a shade of Rose Pink and Ecru and it worked great. You have to keep and eye on your dyebath or they will get too dark. Originally I used dark brown and Tangerine. It made a lovely Amber tone which I thought would work, but once on the light, it just looked yellow. Adding the pink did the trick. Also I cut the very tip off of the rubber cap because the lights looked better. I think that color mix may be different depending on your lights , but if LED"s bug you as much as they do me, this was a happy solution. ... show more

These small 2mm cap covers from Uxcell are a perfect size for sealing ballpoint pen refills. 2mm is actually a bit smaller than the width of most pen refills, but since the material is stretchy it easily covers the tip of my Parker and Jetstream pen refills, which in turn prevents them leaking or drying out while in storage.     • Bra spike covers are great.

Still wear your favorite bra till you take it to a seamstress. I use them for bra spikes. Make sure to use a bra bag cause they tend to come off in the wash.

I selected the 5.5mm version to use on 6mm bolts based on the ad stating they would be "tight" fit. Well sort of. I have a number of bolts that extend thru the mounting surface leaving about 5-8mm exposed. With material passing by the exposed part of the threads I thought these caps would be a good way to protect the threads as well as the material. First problem was the caps were too long - about 15mm so they were sticking out beyond the end of the bolt. I snipped the caps down using pair of scissors to fit. All seemed well until after trial run and most of the caps were gone! I tried again and used RTV to attach to the bolts - lost most again on next trial. The bolts do require occasional removal so I can't use a more permanent glue. I've wondered if a 5mm or maybe smaller would work better; but for now the best I can say is don't assume the "tight" fit is as tight as you hope. ... show more
