I ordered two navy blue, one white and two black turtlenecks. All the same size: men's large. The white and the blue shirts were shipped separately from the two black. I tell you this because the two shipments made a difference in the fit of the shirts. The shirts arrived within the time promised, a day apart. The shirts' material is a cotton/polyester blend which feels quite comfortable on the skin. The white and blue shirts fit perfectly (I am 6', 215 lbs.). Arm length was just right for me (I am a 35" sleeve) and shirts fit around the chest, waist and, very importantly for a turtleneck, around my 16" neck. Not too tight, not too loose, whether wearing the neck rolled down a little (as I prefer) or full length extended up to my chin. The black shirts also fit well in the arms and around chest & waist. Where they failed for me was in the size of the turtleneck, much too large and too much of a gap for me to use whether rolled down or fully extended. Even after washing in hot water, the neck was still too large. As a result, I will not wear these and will give them away to the local thrift shop. My guess is that the neck would probably fit someone with a neck size 17 1/2"-18" or more. Other than the aforementioned, no complaints about these shirts. I like them so much that I am going to re-order the black ones and hope that the necks on this new order will fit as well as the white and blue shirts. ... show more

I like the texture, and the size was truly true to fit with the appropriate width and length. Very comfortable and smooth. I wish the actual turtleneck was larger/more pronounced, as to me, it's slightly subdued... But complicit. I like to wear turtlenecks with blazers to give that smooth, mature, outside the box look while everyone one else wears a tie. This is serviceable enough especially for the price. Buy your true size... It'll fit...i.e, I'm 6 ft 2, 225 lbs, long arms with some muscle, so an extra large is very comfortable for me without it being too large (no swimming here!) Or too tight (getting rid of a little holiday belly). If I had no belly I would go for size large for that nice sexy but not ridiculous tight fit. Get your true fit, only sizing up if you're relatively small but have a little extra belly. I got it in black and in white. ... show more

I have a feeling for big things on the rise, like when I predicted the dot-com bubble when I was in grade school and predicted the St. Louis Blues would win the Stanley Cup in 2019 way back in 2007. Turtleneck as high fashion is coming back in a BIG way and if I were you, I wouldn't be lost in the mix looking like a chump with a cold neck. Put simply, I look amazing in my Turtleneck. This warm weather in June is not going to stop me. Shall our paths cross, you shall see me sporting my T-Neck in casual and formal environments, even as the mercury rises to triple digits. I may have to buy another as it has become quite laborious to wash it every evening. All I can say is stop what you are doing and buy this essential garment. ... show more

This turtleneck did what it was supposed to do. Full disclosure - my friends and I all ordered this awesome piece of finery for our close friend, Mike’s, bachelor dinner. Why would a group of adult males choose to ALL wear this garment to a formal dinner? Because the groom (Mike, previously mentioned) still dresses like a swinger from an awful 1970’s exploitation film. His style hasn’t evolved since 7th grade, when our mothers dressed us like we were failed extras in Starsky and Hutch. The irony? Mike was the only one to show up not wearing a turtleneck. A bit warm for summer, fine for winter. I've had these for a year or two and they hold up well. UPDATE: Another year gone by and these shirts are like new. The fabric doesn't pick up odors quickly- I can wear them several times between washing. I recently had to wear some old cotton turtlenecks with a similar heavy fabric. They felt stiff, uncomfortable, scratchy, and they didn't move with my body as well as these shirts. I'm changing this from 4 to 5 stars, but beware another review claims that the 2018 version of these shirts is a thinner material. ... show more

I eventually purchased three of these shirt for yard work. I live in Florida and the mosquitoes are hell... These long sleeve shirts with turtle necks work well to keep them at bay. PROS: The shirt is soft, comfortable and thick (makes it harder for mosquitoes to penetrate). The turtle neck is actually quite long which provides me with complete neck cover (and I have a longer than usual neck). Price is spot on at $9.95 each. CONS: I wish they sold TALL versions (like XLT). The length was a bit disappointing... workable, but I would have liked a few more inches in length. Also, I normally wear XL tshirts (long and short sleeve). But these run small. I ended up ordering three XXLs after returning the XL. The XXLs fit like XLs on me. Also, these will shrink a bit in the dryer... so I suggest hang drying. Other than that, I am glad I found these. It was actually quite hard to find long sleeve turtleneck shirts that are breathable and comfortable to wear when doing outdoor work. Most others are winter/thermal shirts. [UPDATE 07/23/2020] -- This may have been a fluke/factory error OR the manufacturer has a serious consistency problem. But I purchased one in NAVY and, eventually, three in GRAY. All the gray shirts were appx. 3.5" LONGER than the NAVY (which I found way too short for my taste). I returned the NAVY and the third gray one. All the gray colored shirts were equal in size. So, BUYERS, be AWARE of this possibility. This is especially important for taller torso individuals. ... show more
