I rated these fabulous hangers 1 star in case you, like me, read the 1 stars first. (And besides, there are plenty of 5 star reviews.) I lied. These hangers are perfect- nice & smooth so you don't snag clothes pulling them off, and yet they have hooks for your straps. They are also plenty durable! If you are one of the tiny minority who can only hang T-shirts, just send them back for a replacement set. Mine can handle anything I wish to hang. Just for yucks I hung 3 heavy coats on one hanger (see photo). Just a slight deflection. ... show more

These are just what they say they are and just what I wanted: they are white plastic hangers without the slots for straps. I don't like the slotted hangers. These are not the real thick hangers. I prefer the thick ones for pants, but I prefer these for shirts, etc.

I like the heavy duty tubular hangers for heavy weight items, the giant width hangers for larger sizes and bulky coats and the vinyl coated wire are the most space saving for every day shirts in fairly sturdy, mid-weight fabrics or men's regularly sized dress and sport shirts. These slim, lightweight tubular plastic hangers are the 'goldilocks' are just what I wanted for more lightweight sheer or fragile blouses or dresses, can work as well as the coated wire for most mid-weights too and may even be durable enough for some light weight jackets. A too thin wire hanger can crease or tear at the fabric or pull the seams apart on more delicate garments while a too thick tubular plastic is thicker than the garment itself, more durable than needed for such lightweights and wastes more rod space than necessary. The newer 'velvet' versions are thinner yet most have indents that can catch or leave bumps on a sheer garment. I'm also skeptical of how those will look and feel when the 'velvet' sprayed on particles sooner or later wear off... all over the clothing?... leaving sticky glue residues exposed on the hangers? Or the flimsy metals used in the hooks break off or flake away leaving.. chrome? rust? whatever shiny flecks of something all over clothes and closet?.. time will tell... Meanwhile, these are just right for most garments and I especially like that there's no rough edges or sharp spots from the plastic molding process to catch or snag anything. ... show more

I was tempted to select another brand, but I really liked the price and color of these hangers. Not at all cheap, or at least not any different than any other hangers I have purchased of this type in the past. I love there are not any notches that leave little indentations in the shoulders of all you hang. I will probably be switching my old hangers over to these and purchasing more. ... show more

I recently re organized my son’s closet because he was sizing up to the next size and couldn’t use the smaller size hangers anymore. These were a great purchase and much needed for awhile now. His clothes no longer fall off the hangers because they’re too big for the smaller ones. For people not trying to upsize a kid’s closet, these hangers are regular adult size. They have also worked perfectly in my closet and the coat closet. They are light weight, able to hold snow pants and jackets without bending, and do not have rough edges that would make clothes get snags in them. ... show more

Simple hangers. Not too thick, not to thin. Don’t ‘snag’ or have specialty features that get in the way. The plastic formula and thickness…manufacturer: DO NOT CHANGE IT. After trying a pack I ordered more and threw out ALL my other hangers. Threw out the thin wire ones, fat plastic ones, wimpy plastic ones, felt covered and ‘clever feature’ hangers with weird shoulder loops that always got my shirt or coat stuck in the morning rush. I only have these now, along with a handful of wooden antique hangers. Finally simple perfection (and all the same color). ... show more
