For the past couple years my girlfriend and I have gone through a few cheap comforters. We never really gave much thought to them and subsequently they never impressed us. I grew up using a down comforter and have very fond memories of that blanket. The comfort and warmth was something that I hadn't experienced since I had moved out and gotten my own comforter. So this has been in the back of my mind ever since but I wasn't sure if I wanted to dish out that kind of money for a blanket and also deal with the hassle of dry cleaning it. Also by purchasing a down blanket we'd be supporting an industry in which the down feathers from geese are taken from them and that's not something we personally wanted to support. So for all those reason we started looking into down alternative. The first thing that made me question these products was the price, they seem TOO cheap. I was raised with the mantra, "you get what you pay for" and with that in mind I was quite weary when looking at these products. I always make sure to compare many different products and read through the reviews, both good and bad before I buy something. I decided to take a chance on this particular one as it seemed to be the highest rated by customers and I liked what I saw in the images provided by said customer. If anything, the price was low enough that I wasn't too worried if I didn't end up liking it. Now I wasn't actually home when it arrived but my girlfriend confirmed that it was very flat right out of the package, as was expected. By the time I got home 2-3 hours later it appeared to be fully fluffed. The material it is made of is very soft and comfortable on your skin and I was pleasantly surprised with the thickness/fluffyness. It is a fairly light blanket, similar to a down blanket I suppose in that regard. So far I have only slept with it one night but it did a great job of keeping me warm. I live in Wisconsin and the temperatures this week have been ranging from -10 over night to single digits during the day. I had been using 2 blankets prior to getting this one and sometimes I would still wake up in the night feeling cold. But so far with this blanket alone I have stayed warm which again was a pleasant surprise. I do have to say that this doesn't remind me a whole lot of my down blanket and I think that may have to do with the material used in the shell. And you're not going to be 100% able to recreate a down blanket not using down. So if you are looking for something that feels exactly like down and won't be satisfied otherwise, this might not be for you. However, if you are looking for a good quality, warm, fluffy and affordable priced blanket that will give you that "cloud" like feeling, I think you would be really happy with this blanket. Again this is my opinion from using it for one night, I can not comment on the durability or longevity of this blanket, but I am hoping that it holds up over time. **also our cats immediately fell in love with it, it is their new favorite spot to nap.

I'm pleasantly surprised by this insert! It's incredibly fluffy with a good, but not heavy weight to it. It's not too hot, which is great for these summer months. My husband and I both slept really well under it for the first time last night - high sleep quality thus far! It has plenty of tie holds, making it easy to use. When I climbed under, it curled perfectly around me and felt like a cuddly teddy bear hug! So far, I am in love with this insert!

Very nice quality product and good value comforter for warmer months especially. I personally have a cooling blanket for summer since I have hot flashes and night sweats. Looks great and I got a king size but I have a queen size bed and it covers both my husband and I nicely. Very comfortable and not too heavy. You should use a Laundromat for washing it unless you have a very large washer and dryer.

My bf and I share a queen sized bed and I move around alot so the easiest thing is for us to have separate covers so I bought a twin sized minty green one and I fell in love with it. It's huge for a twin, you'd think it was a queen, it's fluffy, not heavy, not too light, not too hot and not too cold. The only problem is that's it's been 6 weeks now and there is sooooo puch pilling!!!! I am someone who is bothered by certain textures and have trouble not thinking about it when I sleep. I will be buying a duvet cover and see if that helps, if not then IDK. I love it other than the pilling.

Great first impression. Nice and fluffy right out of the packaging, didn’t need much shaking out to loosen up. Feels warm without being heavy, and just really comfortable to sink into — soft cover fabric, no scratchiness. Good loft for the price. Corner ties held it in place inside my duvet cover, no shifting so far. Only had it a short time, but so far it’s a solid value pick. Will update if that changes after a few washes.

We recently adopted a cat that has ongoing skin allergies, and we were told that down bedding could make things worse. (Apparently, feathers are a magnet for dust mites). So, reluctantly, we said goodbye to our nice down comforter. (Yes, we know the "obvious" solution is to keep him out of the bedroom. That's not happening. On to Plan B.) After some research, I found this one, and between the price and the glowing reviews, I figured it was worth a shot. I'm so glad I took the chance. This comforter is genuinely wonderful. The fabric feels like the most gossamer parachute you can imagine... weightless and billowing, like a wedding gown made of air (we ordered white, which only adds to the effect). It's cool to the touch, impossibly smooth, and somehow still stays perfectly in place, likely thanks to the thoughtful stitching. Every time I pull it up I feel a bit of delight. And the price. I still can't get over the price. We regularly spend more on a casual lunch out than this comforter costs. A small caveat: it came a bit wrinkly, and a duvet cover would solve that, but honestly, I can't bring myself to cover up that silky feel. It's one of those rare purchases that exceeds expectations at every level. I can't recommend it enough. (Not sure it's related, but cat's skin is doing fine, too.)

This comforter is ok. It seemed to appear thicker than most. Most of the comforters are completely different than pictured so I went by customer photos. My biggest complaint is that it was vacuum sealed to ship as most are which ruins the comforter in my opinion. It doesn't fluff up again the way it should. The quality seems to be ok outside stitching and shell seem to be good but I was hoping it would be a little thicker and more fluffy. The size seems to be on the smaller side for a comforter. I ordered a queen for a full size bed and it fit well. May be on the smaller side for a queen size bed especially if you have a thick mattress or you want it to hang down more I would size up. Overall not bad but it will never go back to its original state after being vacuum sealed. It did not fluff up much after removing from bag and throwing in dryer which is a huge disappointment. It was also thinner than pictured. This has multiple ties for a duvet cover which is nice to secure which is why I bought it.
