I originally bought this comforter because of a Wirecutter review. I had been buying and using duvets and covers and they all were expensive and didn't last, and worse they were too heavy. I have allergies and I realized that I could just use the comforter itself and launder it every week. It was cheap enough so I could replace it and it would still be cheaper than duvet covers. It turned out that they lasted for years even being washed every week. It is a wonderful cover. We have bed sheets and pillow cases from Utopia and they're all good quality. We love this blanket. It's very comfortable and lightweight. It's not too thin and not too thick. It's good for all seasons. For cold winters, it pairs up nicely with a portable heater. The fabric still looks and feels new after washing. The other brand blankets that we had started to have blanket pills (small fabric balls) all over after washing once. I don't think this blanket will have that issue. It does come in an air tight package. We tried putting it in the dryer for a bit but found it to fluff up quicker just by shaking it out. My husband and I each took a side and shook it out. If you have squares that dont seem to be fluffing up as much, go to that individual square and shake it out. It felt pretty light when holding it so I was worried it wouldnt be warm.
