Heavy cast wheel. Very sturdy. Spring is perfect for changing elevations. Unfortunately for me the swivel feature is not good as it digs in to turn around. Tomorrow i'm welding the swivel solid! Otherwise, five stars.

I put these wheels on my swinging wrought iron gate by myself. I need to paint them black so they don’t stand out. I am going to add bracket to stop the gate from swinging onto the grass and to hold the gate up. My gates are so heavy that I’m sure the wheels can handle the weight but I’m not sure the welding and metal can. ... show more

The gate on our front entry was sagging, so we thought we better add a wheel before it pulled the post over completely. Installation went good, but when the wheel spun around, the automatic gate opener stopped. Once we figured out that the force setting on the opener could be adjusted and put it to medium from low, it works like a charm. Great product! ... show more
