I'm leaving this review because my cable finally started showing signs of wear, it would stop charging at certain angles. Because I liked the charger, I went back through my orders to see which one I'd bought and realized this thing lasted me three years, which is amazing since I went through one every six months with the cheap ones. I always loved Anker products. Whether it was charging cables or external batteries, they have always been great quality products. When I first received this cable, I was happily using the cable on a day to day basis. The fast charging was great, and so was the transfer speeds for many of the photos that I upload from my Samsung S9! However, after owning the cable for about six months, my cable began to have irregular charging. At first, the charging cable suddenly began to charge way slower, as in I trying to charge my phone starting at 40%, but an hour later, the battery life would only go up to about 50%. The charging began getting so ridiculously slow, that it was impossible for me to get a full charge in. I also see the estimated time to charge with this cable, and it stated about 8 hours in order to get a complete charge in for my phone! This was to the point where it was completely unreasonable to use this cable anymore. I even tried powering off my phone in order to charge my phone, and it was still unreasonable for the phone to take hours and hours just to charge a phone. I ended up resorting back to my old backup cable that I had for over a year now, and that cable is way older and is just a random cheap cable that I picked up, but that cable still lasted longer than this cable. This was the first Anker product that I was truly disappointed in, especially considering the fact that this cable is supposedly marketed as "last 5x longer than other cables" and "unrivaled durability". I truly wish that this product lasted longer than just 6 months because the product worked very well before it just suddenly stopped functioning properly.... ***UPDATE*** Anker was very fast in responding to my review and provided very helpful links to contact them. I was able to reach out to Anker customer service through a quick simple process, and they promptly reviewed over my situation. Despite the fact that the cable did not last as long as I intended, Anker once again did a phenomenal job at providing wonderful customer service. I was able to receive a new cable within 2-3 business days and did not have to ship them back my broken cable. Thank you once for the quality service, and I hope this replacement lasts longer! ... show more

I'm notorious for being hard on my charging cables. I buy at least 3 a year for various devices. Anker has through the years made very durable cables with the braided Jacket. Here's the thing though, I forget my phone is plugged into the charger sometimes so there're times I get up with my phone and the cable either comes with me out of the wall or get's yanked out of my phone. I roll over the charging cables with my computer chair. I step on them. I bend them. I fidget with them by tying them in knots, but not tight knots. So let's just say that the average cheapo cable just doesn't cut it for me. This cable, however, has been put through the ringer and hasn't so much as shed a fray. One in my car, One in my office at work. They have been stepped on, rolled over, and yanked to the extreme. I plug them in and notice that fast charging in my notifications and my mind is at ease. I haven't purchased another USB Type C cable since 2017, and for good reason. This thing is unkillable. No shorts, no frays, and it just keeps chugging along. If you want a cable with fast charge capabilities that will last you for longer than a year or two, then look no further. Buy this cable. Just do it. Nope. Don't look at the other brand taunting you in the "Products related to this item" section for $3 less. Buy this one. You won't regret it. I haven't. ... show more

I have no complaints with this cable. I bought this to replace the USB C to USB 3.0 Cable that came with my Elgato HD60 S. Plugged the USB C end into my Elgato, then the USB A end into my gaming PC, plugged my PS4 Pro into the HDMI input of Elgato, opened Streamlabs OBS, and it worked perfectly. I was a bit skeptical that it may not work with Instant Gameview Feature of my Elgato HD60 S, but it worked perfectly. Instant Gameview is a feature (borderline selling point) of the Elgato HD60 S that allows you to almost play through the capture Window, thanks to the extremely low latency. I have noticed that it's a bit of of a tight fit for the Elgato HD60 S, but that often results in a more solid connection. This is why the Elgato HD60 S is considered a low latency capture card. I did a quick test to see if there was actually any discernable input lag, and there was none whatsoever. I dare say despite being cheaper, it may have been even faster than the cable originally included with the capture card. Exactly the same as as if it the PS4 Pro were plugged directly into the TV. For reference my PC has an MSI 370 Gaming Plus Motherboard, AMD Ryzen 7 1700 CPU @3.8 GHz, 16 GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 RGB RAM, EVGA RTX 2080 XC Ultra Gaming Graphics Card, 2 TB Western Digital Blue HDD, 2 TB SanDisk Ultra SSD. Basically more than overkill for my Elgato HD60 S. But I intended to match or beat current generation 4K consoles. Bottom line, this cable works perfectly for my needs. If you have an Elgato Game Capture HD60 S, or plan to get one, this is a far superior replacement cable. I know from experience that the which comes with Elgato HD60 S breaks easily, so the quality of this cable blows it out of the water. ... show more
