Works great. Laptop only had one HDMI output and I need 3 monitors. I had to manually install the driver but other than that I had no problems. The instruction card is very small and hard to read. To manually install the driver: plug in the adapter, then go to the file explorer and look under “This PC”. You will see a new local disk that will be red. Click it then click the “FL2000” file.     • Make sure you install the drivers first
I just plugged it in and nothing worked. Win10 did recognize it and I thought it was faulty. It came up as an external drive. But once I realized that it had the drivers on it and they were installed, it worked perfectly. 1080p/60FPS over USB 3.0 is perfect for the 1080p monitor I was using.     • It was easy to install and set up.
I was surprised by how easy it was to install and set up. Even with USB 2.0, the video quality on my TV is great. I also run audio through the HDMI link. This is also good, although as far as I know, it's just stereo. So far I have watched the show for 4 or 5 hours and haven't seen any issues with buffering or tracking of audio or video audio. ... show more

    • Worse than a virus!!!
Let me start by saying that I am an I.T. guy. I have been a System Administrator for 10 years. This thing at best is malware. at worst, a virus. Plug it in and nothing happens. go to the manufacturers website and the only driver is for windows XP. which is probably the root of the problem. But windows 10 is perfectly capable of running windows XP drivers. install it and it requires a reboot after reboot, Blue screen of death. 🤔 reboot again, still BSOD unplug it and reboot, still BSOD 😩 spend literally hours booting in and out of safe mode trying to uninstall it! but still cant get rid of it!!! I finally give up and reinstall windows. Save yourself some time and frustration and take some free IT device. don't buy this. ... show more

    • It's now recognizing my TV when I connect to my laptop
I connected this adapter to my TV using both the HDMI and RGB-PC and the TV is still not being recognized. I'll have to return and purchase something else. 6/23 Update: After fiddling around with different connections, connecting the adapter to my PC before attaching my HDMI cable allowed it to download the drivers first. It took about 10 -15 minutes (or thereabouts), before it worked and I could work and I could attach the HDMI cable to my TV. Now it works pretty well.     • beats between 2 and 3 are not much different in quality
The 3 style for these are pretty much the same as 2, but more expensive. This 2 style came in a well prepared and stylish box. Including CD for other features, well made pill case to carry them in, and six other sets of earbuds to fit your exact ear size. Comfortable to wear. Thought the ear piece wrap would be longer but they still stay in really well with the size the ear wrap comes with. Bass is on point as usual with Dre's. Only complaint is that it was late by 2 days which has nothing to do with the sounds/quality itself. I prefer wired to Bluetooth models as i have so many devices, but it comes with a clip as well to adhere it to your clothes when running, working out etc. Even when sweaty they stay in perfectly.     • Easy to install - make sure you use USB 3.0 port
The adaptor shows up as a usb drive the first time you connect it where you can install the driver from. I had an issue with the color quality on the display at first. I was able to get the display to show 1920x1080 but the quality wasn't great. I thought all of the USB ports on my laptop were USB3 but found the one I used was USB 2 and the other ones were USB3. After moving the adaptor to one of the USB 3 ports I have no issues. If you have an issue and think you're in a usb3 port look up your laptops model just to be sure, or even easier, try the other ones before you waste a half hour on it like I did. ... show more

    • caused my headphones never to be detected; HUGE hassle
This product worked well superficially, but its driver also seems to interact badly with Dell's Realtek Audio driver package, with the result that, if the monitor also has a headphone jack, the computer would STOP detecting headphone insertions. It took me weeks to isolate the problem down to this component (I was using 2 monitors, one direct to HDMI, and another using this converter). When the problem would occur, it was very difficult to get rid of, requiring a complete uninstall of all Audio devices, several reboots etc. In the process, I actually changed out the motherboard because I thought the jack itself was defective. So I don't know if the problem was with Dell drivers (I sort of doubt it, those tend to be solid, or with this device's drivers, but I am afraid to ever use this thing again, or even give it away to anyone else to use. ... show more
