I have an Apple brand camera connector to power use of the gtrack pro condenser mic with the lightning plug iPad, but it stopped working properly after the iOS 16.5 upgrade. The connection began to throw an error saying the condenser mic could not get enough power to be used thru the connector. I saw online that other people were experiencing this with the apple brand connector after this upgrade and got around this problem by getting an aftermarket, third-party camera connector. And sure enough, With this connector, the gtrack pro mic is now functioning properly and able to recognize and use the charging cable to power itself again. Yay. Just yay! My daughter is an actress and needed a new mic setup for her voice overs. She received that Blue Yeti as a Christmas gift but we needed an adaptor to be able to use her Iphone. This worked perfect! I purchased this in hopes it would allow my Maono equipment to work for my Tiktok & Youtube Live. It drops the sound constantly. I have to ask my listeners if they can hear the music. It’ll randomly start blasting static into the live. I have to unplug it from the lightning port and plug it back in at least 12 times every time I go live. Because it’s so problematic I’ve had to put away my audio equipment and go back to speakers close my mobile. I’m now used to returning things to Amazon. Nothing ever just works right. ... show more

I just got this and tried it out for the first time. I'm using it on my old iPad Pro with OS 16.7.7. First check was for charging - it worked just fine. I had to log into the iPad to allow the accessory to function. Next check was a flash drive with documents made on my PC. (Yes, I'm a PC guy, not an Apple!)
