First off—it is great having a product that, despite its small (and familiar) form factor, charges much faster than even larger Apple-branded chargers. Sure it gets a bit warmer than I’d personally like, but it isn’t anything unexpected, and is way cooler than the classic 5v chargers got back in the day. After a year of use, it has held up excellently. The included cord is great because not only do you get a great charging block with it, but the cord itself is longer and thicker than even apple branded cables. This means it holds up better and handles the energy (and therefore the heat) better. Portability-wise, is everything you’d expect. It doesn’t come with anything to tie it so it may be nice to order some sort of twisty tie (I personally use Nite Ize brand gear ties for my charger and it works great). But otherwise it rolls up well, and holds its shape without damaging or bending the cord. The charger is styled similarly to a classic Apple 5v charger except with rounded corners. Sometimes I even get the two mixed up at a glance. This is great because it doesn’t appear to be a fast charger, which means it stays safe from getting stolen by envious family and friends. The block is USB-C while the cord is USB-C to Lightning. TL:DR: this is a great charger / cord combo for any Apple device that needs lightning, and the block itself is great with anything that can plug into it.
