  • Light-weight and comfortable
Color: Galaxy
Easy on and off. The camera is kept at a convenient height and easy to get to in a hurry to capture a fleeting opportunity.

  • Sort of nice
Color: Black
It gets the job done and keeps my camera lower than my binocs which is why I bought this. So that is good. The other good thing is there are two camera battery pockets and one a SD card pocket. A bonus - great idea, yet the velcro pocket flaps securing the pockets work well only in the upright position. When taking off the camera and straps often get to be upside down and the velcro flaps just don't always keep the batteries from falling to the ground. Maybe because the straps can catch on your coat and resulting in a twang to the elastic strap. In any case, I have to be very careful to not invert the straps. It is an obvious deficiency, and I'll contact the company about these weak velcro flaps - maybe it is only with my unit that is having the problem. ... show more

  • Neck Saver

Got this to help support the Sony 200-600. I got some Peak Design quick releases and the setup is amazing. As long as you're not walking too much! The lens hangs really low. This is fine when you're stationary. But while walking the lens will collide with your thighs each step. One way to improve this would be to figure out how to make a chest strap that could secure the lens higher on your body like a papoose position. This is my only complaint. For now I just cradle the lens across the top of my chest when I walk. When I find a spot that I'd like to take a rest or sit and shoot photos then letting the lens hang from the straps is more comfortable and natural feeling than a sling to me. Even though it's not suitable for long nature walks I still rate this 10/10 simply because of how comfortable it is to have that BAL supported by both shoulders. ... show more

  • Warehouse work - holds keys, pens, box cutter out of the way
Color: Galaxy
I have used this every day at work for almost 2 years. I have not used this for it's intended purpose (to hold a heavy camera or binoculars), but it's well made. The sewing is well done, the edges are finished, the material seems durable. I am surprised it's so cheap (15 when I bought it). I had heavy keys kept on a "Key-Bak" (high quality retractable key clip). They snag when kept on the waist or a neck lanyard. I split the keys and clipped a Key-Bak onto each strap so that they hang under each arm. The pockets are short (made for batteries and memory cards), but the manufacturer did not cut corners when making them. You can carefully cut the bottom out of the upper pocket, which opens it up to hold long items like pens. I keep 2 pens in one pocket and a boxcutter in the other. (I removed the part that holds the camera.) The padded part is flexible, but holds its shape. This makes it easy to put on and take off, and it doesn't become a tangled mess of straps when you take it off and carelessly toss it somewhere. The padded part is the reason I chose this particular harness, some of the other designs look like they will slide up and end up with the back portion still rubbing on your neck. I don't ever feel like this is touching my neck. However, I didn't use it with a heavy camera like intended. The padded part is soft and flat enough that I don't have a problem leaning back into a chair. The harness sits loosely, it's not snug on your body. It stays in place because of it's shape. ... show more

  • Can't adjust short enough for small torso, poor quality connectors
Color: Black
I really wanted to like this harness as I love the pockets on the straps & I thought the neoprene might be just the right amount of stretch for comfort but keep my mirrorless camera plus zoom lens bouncing too much (about 4# total so harnesses with elastic straps don't work at all). But as other reviewers mentioned, if you are short/petitie (I'm 5'3", 115 lbs), I could not adjust the straps short enough. Even after fussing with the straps making them as short as possible, the camera & zoom lens hung way too low & was particularly uncomfortable while walking. I ended up having to hold onto the camera or lens, defeating the purpose of a strap/harness. Also, I noticed it was difficult to bring the camera up to shoot so the harness straps don't have an optimum angle for easy shooting. Even if I had been able to adjust the straps to my liking, I would have hesitated keeping the harness b/c as others noted, the webbing & attachment method does not seem of high quality. The webbing is not thick woven nylon as one usually finds on straps that come with expensive optic equipment but rather thin & flimsy. I'd be afraid it would wear through & I dislike the loop back thru the buckle style as well. I'm not willing to risk expensive equipment getting damaged if these poor quality fasteners break/tear through. If you have a lightweight point & shoot camera or smaller binoculars, this might not be an issue. But as I mentioned, my kit weighs in at almost 4 lbs so wear & tear with almost daily use is an issue. ... show more

  • This is an excellent product I use it all the time
Color: Black
I have had this strap for over two years and really like it. I have a nikon d850 and with a heavy lens on the camera it becomes tiresome carrying it around. This harness takes the risk out of dropping your camera and is relatively comfortable to wear. It is a great product
