I used to use vinegar for descaling my Keurig machine but a knowledgeable friend convinced me to switch to a use specific descaling product. This seems to work well as I was able to detect some sort of particles that I assume are the scale that I am trying to remove, in the first cycle.

I use it to descale my Nespresso (per instructions on their web site) at a 1:9 dilution in water. When I'm done, I sometimes use the heated solution to descale faucets or shower heads too.

Per customer service- mix 1 oz per liter of water. Run through machine and preform 2 additional rinse cycles.

Dezcal works great and I like that it's a liquid that is much easier to mix than some of the powders. My only complaint, and it's minor, is that I had a little difficulty determining exactly how much I should use. Other than that, I'll readily order more when I need it.

I've been using the descaling tablets and decided to give this a try. It worked perfectly on my coffee machine, better than the tablets. Instructions say to use 10% solution to water. So, I used 100ml to a liter of water and it worked very well.

It took me 5 runs to get the coffeemaker to not shut down half way through brewing after only 2 months of use but it eventually did the trick
