i bought these to use on my breville infuser instead of breville's own super-expensive cleaning tabs. i purchased a bottle of these cafiza tabs a little less than 6 years ago [jan 1, 2017]. i did a rough calculation and think my wife and i have brewed about 10,000 shots over that period. i have 10 slightly diminished tabs left [rough edges from bits getting knocked off], as well as dust that must be equal to at least 4 tabs. i do a cleaning cycle using one of these tabs whenever the machine notifies that it needs cleaning. over this period i have never experienced problems with accumulated scale diminishing flow. ... show more

Hopefully some Chinese or Indian company will do reverse chemical engineering to bring a generic version of this tablets soon. This is really overpriced for what it does but the espresso machines that I have requires this size and strength of the tablet. Will keep on using this until we find the alternative. ... show more

I use these tabs in place of Miele-branded cleaing tabs. Short version: they work. Long version: they work well, cleaning out residue from the oily beans I love, but Miele says to avoid.
