    • Great product - makes steam wand cleaning a breeze
I recently purchased a Breville Oracle Touch, and I was putting together a coffee station to go with it. It's not next to a sink or water source, so I was looking for something to wipe down the steam wand that wouldn't require a wet cloth (which can get nasty, anyway). I ran across this product and thought I'd give it a try. It works perfectly. I even realized once that I'd failed to wipe down the nozzle several hours after using it, so the milk was dried and baked on. It made no difference. Using one of these cloths on a dried wand worked as well as if it was just used. Yes, they are pricey, but for the convenience factor, I'll continue to use them. ... show more

While you might think these are pointless...Think about the number of times you did not have a wet cloth or rag right by you when you needed to clean the wand immediately. We love having these right by our Nespresso which is across the kitchen from the sink. We typically use one for both of our lattes. ... show more

Making espresso-based milk drinks at home has an issue with the steam wand towels after use: putting them in a washing machine daily is impractical and piling them up for, say, a weekly wash is a cause for sour milk smells and mold. This disposable tissue is the best solution I have found. After a short practice I have learned to fold it for heat isolation while wiping the hot steam wand. then I use the same tissue to wipe coffee marks and grinds from the grinder, the espresso machine and the countertop. The main drawback: the price. Still at about 13 cents a piece it is not very high as part of the cost of making great coffee. I wish they'll offer multiple boxes at a lower price. ... show more

    • Excellent for routine cleaning!
These work amazingly well for removing milk residue from my Rancilio Silvia steam wand at the end of the day, and for cleaning coffee oils from various parts of the Rancilio Rocky grinder. I am overall keeping my gear a lot cleaner thanks to these wipes. I have always been a big fan of dissolved Cafiza powder, and that stuff is still great for "deep" cleanings where I am soaking parts. These are great for the in-between times, where dry approaches to cleaning (scraping, vacuuming, wiping, etc.) are not quite enough to remove deposits of various kinds. If you are the kind of person who finds yourself doing things like using bamboo skewers to scrape deposited coffee grime off of the little nooks and crannies things, you're likely to find these a real convenience. In fact I clean some nooks and crannies now by using the good ol' bamboo skewers to skootch these around. (Saves a lot of time relative to totally dismantling things.) ... show more

    • Great for cleaning the milk wand
Great for cleaning the milk wand on a cappuccino machine after each use. Even cleans dried milk on a wand if you forget to clean it right away. Some elbow grease is required, but it is better than using harsh chemicals with some after taste(and health risks.) No after taste from these wipes, but I dry it with a washable kitchen towel after using the wipes anyway. Cleaning the wand and inside the wand tip/rubber seals is still needed every now and then with the cleaning tablets. This is also good to clean coffee stains, but I use it daily to clean the milk wand and it is really indispensable! ... show more
