Whether you celebrate holidays or not, diffuser oil is refreshing for the home at this time of year. I like this smell of outdoors with the scent of evergreen, the warmth of cinnamon and a hint of fruitiness. From the reeds this gives off just a hint of scent and the oil itself seems to be losing smell quickly outside it's container, it needs to get stirred up. I first used 3 of the supplied reed sticks for the bathroom, thinking it's sufficient in a small space, but it was not, but using 5 sticks the fragrance is just barely there. You can smell it when opening the door and then it falls into the background, not in-your-face strong. So one can adjust the potency easily with the amount of reeds used. I mix the solution really well, then saturate one end of the reeds and turn them over. I was concerned about it being over- powering, since the package smelled stronger upon delivery than diffusing in action; I'm happy with the subtler scent. ... show more

Scent is mostly evergreen but there’s subtle undertones. Definitely something for the holidays. I placed the oil in a narrow neck bottle and then used only half of the reeds (thinking I’ll save the rest for when needed another time). Smells strong straight out of the bottle—so far have it on display for 24 hours and no permeating scent in my living room, not even a faint hint ..perhaps it will take a bit longer for the aroma to disperse through the reeds. ... show more

This reed oil refill came well boxed with several new reeds. It was easy to open and had a clean but potent conifer woodsy scent with a hint of sweetness that reminded me of sap. The scent isn’t quite fully natural but it is close.

I appreciate the fact this reed diffuser solution is made in the USA. The most important tip I can provide for this diffuser reed oil is to shake the bottle before pouring. Shaking the bottle should help mix the fragrance before pouring into your diffuser jars. Unfortunately, I was only able to make two diffuser jars (each only halfway filled) out of this fragrance solution. If the scent lasts for the 3-to-4-month period as the website states, then the price point is fair. The set of reed sticks included were not crafted of the best quality. Numerous sticks arrived with shredding and damaged towards the bottom (I will replace the reed sticks). Overall, the scent is not powerful as I would have liked. I placed a jar in my husband’s bathroom and inside our walk-in closet. If you sniff hard enough you may smell it. This scent is perfect for people who like light smells. It smells of pine/evergreen with undertones of cinnamon. ... show more

This smells like U.S. Christian holidays. I did not tell the rest of the home I had set this up and they asked where the holiday scent was coming from. I had put the reeds 6 feet high on top of shelving two hours earlier. The essential oil concentration in the carrier oil is very good. The bottle leaked a bit. It sits securely between cleverly folded cardboard but the twist cap came slightly ajar enough in transit. The box was not saturated and plenty was still in the bottle. It scented the box very strongly. It came with several reeds which is a nice touch. If the cap could come more secure it'd be perfect. ... show more

Doesn’t have as strong of a scent as I anticipated, which definitely makes this best in small areas, such as bathrooms. The scent is wonderful though, and definitely adds a crisp ambiance of holiday cheer to the atmosphere. Very subtle background fragrance. I'm busy working tonight, but when I stop I notice, "Hey, it smells like Christmas morning!" - like cranberry orange scones in the oven, the fragrant tree, and even a fire in the fireplace. I received this diffuser oil called Holiday Cheer. It really does smell like Christmas. My bottle is actually labeled as "Holiday" not "Holiday Cheer" as in the product photos, so I'm wondering if I actually got the correct oil but it smells fabulous so I'm not concerned.
