    • Very nice quality but you CANNOT take it in!

So this is a really nice skirt, great quality and lots of stretch, very thick, but I was in b/w sizes so I went up and was just going to take it in (which I do with almost all of my clothes my whole life! due to odd proportions and tall height!). Weeeellll, due to the way this material stretches, no matter how I tried to take it in, with different angles and locations and techniques, tapering, etc. it would have lil triangle nubs that would stick out! Since it stretched a little on my butt/hips area, but then was much too big for my waist. I spent forever trying to make it work and just had to give up. But taking out the seams so many times caused a few small holes so i wasn't able to return it :( So just fyi, don't bother trying to alter this, just make sure it fits the way you like as-is. It also still ran a little tight across the front of my hips/below the stomach which wasn't the most flattering (yet again much too big up top and this was going to be the size most flattering for my booty!). Oh and I wish it had tapered down more towards the knees like typical pencil skirts, it kinda flares out and is baggy below my butt which just looked awkward too (and I have big thighs as well). So probably a better fit for someone who is more straightlined/ closer to the same size all the way down from stomach to knees vs curvy. Just not flattering for my body type. ... show more
