I could have spent $10 elsewhere and gotten the same quality phone case. First, I noticed the little UAG logo on the back wasn't straight. Looking at it closer I realized they are stickers. Metal stickers. The 'G' will not stay where it's supposed to be. Then, I was having issues with my wireless charger. I couldn't figure out why it worked so well and then one day it just wouldn't get a solid connection. It was suggested that the metal on my UAG was interfering. I took my case off and tried the charger again. Instant connection with no issues. But, before I could do that... When I took my UAG case off, the 5 little silicone pieces stayed on my phone. They slipped right out if the case. Overall, I am not happy that I spent $40 on this case because I thought it was a reputable brand. If you're thinking I should take the metal pieces off... One, it would leave residue behind (sure I could probably get that off too). And two, I shouldn't ever have to alter a product meant to protect my phone from damage. Now I have to try and fix it and put the case back on while I go find a new case. Those silicone pieces do not want to go in, or stay in. As soon as I think one is in, it falls out. Years ago, I bought a UAG phone case for my Galaxy S6 Edge. What originally sold me on buying this case was that they advertised their phone cases as "military drop-test standards." I honestly don't even know what that means, but I need all the help I can get in keeping my phone intact, and the phrase "military drop-test standards" sounded like it could do the job. So, I had my first UAG case for years. Because I was always messing with it (I'm a "fiddler"), I had completely detached the rubber part of the case from the plastic. However, despite pulling it apart, I was still able to pop the separate pieces back together and back onto my phone, and it still worked perfectly. The other great thing about this case is that it's not clunky like some of the more efficient and expensive phone cases out there. Now I have a UAG case on my Galaxy S9+ and the quality is on par with my previous case. This is a $1000 phone - I wouldn't have bought another UAG product if I didn't think it would do a good job. ... show more

I have the plasma series and just received the monarch in black I wanted to see the differences if any. With that being said here is what I have found 1. The plasma series is cheaper and the corners are reinforced much better and with more bumper gaurd. 2. The top and bottom lip on the plasma series is better due to the monarch top and bottom lips being very flimsy in comparison. By this I am concerned with a drop to the bottom lip especially would crack my phone. 3. The sides on the plasma series do not pull away as much as the monarch. By this I mean when you grab the sides of the case and pull them away from the phone in the case the monarch feels like it will rip off the plasma series does not it feels like it is built better. So my opinion having this case and the plasma I feel the plasma series is a much better case all around. Yet the plasma case does show scratches ... show more

I love this case. I bought it for the Samsung Galaxy S9+. I'm a huge OtterBox fan but my screen on my Galaxy S6 Edge broke with the OtterBox on it. I did some research and read a ton of reviews before finding and settling on this case. I love how well it fits the phone, with bumpers that stick out on the top and bottom for added coverage. There are grippy parts on the sides and back so it won't slide around on a table. The buttons are almost flush with the phone case, which I do love. The back is also wider on the edges than in the middle so it fits in your hand really well. My favorite part of this case has to be where the fingerprint sensor is. It has a nice bevel there that perfectly fits my finger. I have dropped my phone in this case twice from about 4 feet and nothing has happened to my phone yet. I had the same case for my S7 Edge for a long time, and really like the case - I tested a few ones and it became my favorite. For the S7 Edge, I tried my best to take care of my phone but I think I dropped it at least once or twice and the case did it's job. I purchased this case for my S9 Plus and so far I am happy, it doesn't add a bunch of extra bulk and looks good. I like knowing that it is MIL STD 810G 516.6 tested. When other cases make this claim, make sure it mentions 516.6 which is the shock test otherwise they could be referring to another aspect of 810G to be sneaky. Overall I think you will be happy with this case, and I had no problem with wireless charging on a few chargers I tested. ... show more
