    • Nice looking, but some issues for the picky.

This is a very nice looking case. It feels good and tactile in the hand; although "square". The extra grips are a plus *when in the vertical position* - not so much when picking it up from a flat surface. They're useless in this position. I ordered two; one in black and one in black camo. I only received the black one. (PROPS EDIT: Upon contact, UAG immediately sent the second case out 2nd day, cross country, so bravo for that!) While it's a great looking case, it's wobbly when laid on a flat surface... more specifically, on its back. It's not the center that is the issue (as some may wonder like myself from design & images); but it's actually the uneven corners - especially the camera corner. The "surface contact points" are actually in from the corners. Thus, when it comes to the camera corner, that contact point is not present at all and the phone will wobble on a surface. These contact points should have been at the very corners, IMO. The fourth corner at the camera position is not the same height as the the other three, comes extremely close to no protection at the very corner, and I expect if dropped on this corner at an angle (I actually hold phones with my left hand, so this is a BIG concern for me), it will very likely chip/dent/crack the corner of the camera when the case makes impact. What I'm saying is that corner of the case is VERY flexible, and barely raised against over the camera's height. As for the camo, it's "okay". The lighter sections are lighter than the images, and due to its raised print, it will likely scratch or chip in time. The light gray was just too light for my taste. I wanted to love this case, but I've decided it's not worth the camera corner drop risk. I would say the UAG design team is generally great and they should revisit this phone's particular corner design. However, the manufacturing is less than impressive. It honestly just comes across more like a $25 case based on the final manufacturing, IMHO. At this point, I've given up on overpriced cases. Through this journey over the past week, I bought the Encased Rebel, and for $14, that thing is blowing all these other $40-50 cases away by a mile. Is it fancy looking? No, but I've now tried about 6 different high profile $40-50 cases (UAG, Pelican, etc.), and none of them feel as safe as the cheap Rebel. If anyone has read this far, I'd say go give that one a shot for $14. ... show more

    • My favorite case, but pricey

I've been using the UAG Pathfinder case for a while....iPhone 6+, Galaxy S8+, S10+ and now the S21 Ultra. I love that it's not too bulky, looks super sharp and still offers above average protection. A couple reviews mention a product weakness around the camera area, which was concerning. Maybe the product was defective or there was an ulterior motive in slamming the product. Either way, I decided to give it a shot. If it wasn't up to par, I could simply return it. It arrived and it's all I expected it to be. Fit is fantastic, protects the edges and it has raised edges around the screen face and camera pod. I can't give it 5 stars though. Unfortunately, it's a bit annoying to me that it's $40 for $2 worth of plastic. Also, the color selection is ridiculously limited. If you don't mind paying twice what you should pay, and are ok with whatever color UAG wants you to buy, then go for it. I like the blue, but I wish it was lighter and I really wanted orange like I had for my old iPhone. ***1 week edit*** So, I still love this case, but I have noticed the corners of the case aren't as solidly secured to the phone as my previous cases. It seems to come off a little easier, however it hasn't come off at all unless I purposefully take the case off. YMMV ... show more

I thought I was getting more quality out of this product. I know UAG products to be generally good however this particular product is very cheap and lacks any durability or protection in my opinion

    • Sturdy phone case
Size: S21 Ultra 5G Color: Pathfinder - Mallard
I got this sturdy phone case to replace another case that had a slippery grip. This case with the many small traction notches on the sides of the phone allow me to get and retain a firm grip on the phone while in use The case is well designed and is easy to slip into and out of a pants pocket. The lip that goes all the way around the cameras should help keep them protected. The lip around the front of the phone is also quite nice. All of openings to allow access to all the phone's microphones and speaker are large enough to allow full function and the area around the USB-C port is large enough so that it is very easy to connect and disconnect the charging cable. UAG has a great reputation and I expect that this phone case will provide me with the best protection possible as well while still being user friendly. ... show more

I've used this brand of case since the Galaxy S4! I take pretty good care of my devices but accidents happen. I've dropped all of my phones from multiple heights and they've landed at every angle you could think of, I've never had a problem with screen cracking or damage to the device in all that time. I'll probably stick with this brand of case for as long as they are making cases for the phone I have. P.S. durability of the case is unbeatable. I tend to keep my phones for a long time and each case has lasted at least 3-4 years. ... show more

    • Solid case that does not take up a lot of space
The case does work with the screen protector that I got. I got one of the soft screen protectors instead of the hard glass ones. The case seems to use the corners as the primary means to hold onto the phone. The sides just barely come around the edges just enough to offer a lip so you can lay the phone face down on a flat surface without the screen touching the surface. There is also a similar lip on the back to protect the camera. The case is made of a hard flexible plastic. Over all it is a solid case that does not take up a lot of space ... show more
