To my disappointment, this case does not work with magsafe at all. The wireless charging basically doesn't work, if the phone picks up the wireless charging at all it only stays connected for about 30 seconds and drops.

I’ve had UAG cases in the past and love them. Loved the protection they offered. Loved the durability. This case however is horrible. This damage is from a drop from the night stand to the floor a whole 26 inches!!! I was shocked when I picked it up and saw the damage to the camera area. Took off the case and the back is shattered, front screen is perfectly fine (I do have a tempered screen protector on it but as you can see it’s not even cracked!) My love for UAG is no more. Time to replace this one and the cases I have on my teenage sons phone...heaven knows how rough a teenage boy can be on a phone. What a waste of $$$!!! ... show more

I’ve tried of the cases in the past and this is my go to case for my iPhone. This is the third UAG case of purchase and I love the design. I ordered this one in preparation for my iPhone 12 Pro Max. Excellent grip texture as well as functionality. The camera cut out is recessed to allow some protection for the rear aperture. Also, the front of the case has a small lip to provide some screen protection as well. Highly recommended! ... show more

Despite all of the negative reviews saying that wireless charging does not work with this case, I can personally confirm that wireless charging does indeed work fine. Two different Anker PowerWave Pads and an Anker PowerWave Base Pad work without any issues. I know that the 12 Pro Max is having issues with certain Qi chargers, especially the stand type chargers, so that may be why so many people are saying the wireless charging does not work. Aside from that though, this case is amazing. The feeling in hand and rugged/robust design are what I've come to expect from UAG. The carbon fiber looks so phenomenal and really helps to make this case premium. ... show more

i did not like edge protection because the lip is small especially having a glass protector installed. the honeycomb lasered on the side for grip is actually slippery. the overall grip quality is very poor. its too bulky and quite heavy. the carbon fiber look is like a sticker behind than a faux one with overlapping mesh. i just saw a lot of inconveniences than the positive ones. one thing is that itll handle a side drop or a back of phone drop yes. i do not recommend. ... show more

    • Awesome case but won’t work with wireless charging

I had one of these cases on my old iPhone 7 Plus and loved it. I knew I’d have to get another one to protect my new 12 Max Pro. It is cool looking and, when coupled with a screen protector (not included, obviously) makes me feel very safe about the substantial investment of a new phone. I probably would have ordered the UAG Monarch even if I knew in advance that it did not work with wireless charging (confirmed by correspondence with UAG customer service, which also claims Amazon is responsible for misrepresenting it on their site), but I was still very disappointed about that. It’s a major design flaw, and I hope they can get it resolved in future versions. Other reviews complained about the fit and finish, but to me they seem perfect, and worth the high price tag.     • Beware using with QI chargers

I had an identical case from UAG for my iPhone X and it worked flawlessly with “standing” QI chargers, but this case doesn’t work with such chargers. Support seems to think it’s easier to position a phone on a flat charger to find the coil, but it’s absolutely the opposite. I could put my X on any of my standing chargers and charge with no problem and no repositioning , while the flat QI charger required moving the phone around to find a charging position. I haven’t decided whether to return the case, but if you have these type QI chargers, they likely will not work. Had I known this, never would have ordered one. ... show more
