They are high waisted and comfortable. The only issue is the tag in the back is stitched into the seam must be cut out VERY carefully. If you don’t cut enough off, it sticks out and is scratchy and uncomfortable. Cut off too much and there’s a hole in the butt. Still! Cute shorts for the price.
