Love these for house shorts. Too short for my liking to go in public but super cute, flattering (husband approved 😉) and comfortable. The waist doesn't dig in, cotton is cozy. Wear them to sleep, around the house and doing yard work and just what I wanted.

I bought these shorts, because I wanted something loose, comfortable, and cotton with pockets and a draw string. While the draw string does actually work, it's redundant because the elastic is too tight to ever need it. I normally wear a size 12, so I bought the large, and I wish I had gotten an XL. The elastic band is 3 inches wide, and heat seems to radiate from it. I can't exercise in these, because I sweat too much under the elastic, and it's uncomfortable to sit or eat with them on. I also want to complain about the tag placement. Why on earth do manufacturers SEW A TAG IN THE BUTT CRACK, of women's garments, that then leaves a HOLE when you remove it with a seam ripper? Why can't it be a sticker, or a different color of thread, that's sewn on separately, and can be easily pulled out, without destroying the seams holding the garment together? I also see that these shorts have doubled in price since I bought my 2 pack for $10. ... show more

I was tired of wearing fabrics like polyester that seem to hold in sweat, and so decided to go for some cotton shorts to lounge in and hopefully, be able to exercise in too. Seemed like a good price for these, so I got them. The good: stretchy, comfortable, has pockets, and is all cotton. The bad: sizing, super high cut legs, loose legs that show everything. It's possible I just got the wrong size. I don't usually wear an xl in bottoms. I'm usually a medium or large. But many things made in China are Asian sized not American sized, and since the amazon suggested I buy an xl, I did. Of course they fit just fine in the waist since they have elastic and a tie, and I was, at first happy with them, even though they are super baggy in the thighs on me. But after wearing them lounging around the house, I realized that when I sit down, these wide thighed leg basically end up near my waist, showing my underwear. I did go outside with them once, wearing a slim-fitting boxer type underwear underneath and they were ok, but even walking, they wanted to bunch up, so my underwear were frequently on display. Ok, since the boxer types I was wearing that day meant sure I wasn't flashing everyone, but I would not be comfortable wearing these outside if I didn't have something like that on under them, and for me, that kind of defeats the purpose. I've worn them for lounging shorts and they're fine for that if you're only around folks you don't mind showing off more of your body than shorts usually do, but really, these expose FAR too much flesh. If the legs were tighter, as I expected they would be, they might be ok, but..... I'll keep them for lounging, but won't be buying them again, because I'm not sure a smaller size would make that much difference--the fact is, they are HUGE in the thighs and because of that ride up terribly. ... show more

Height: 4'11" Weight: 121 I love these short!! I never have any luck buying clothes from Amazon because everything looks great in pictures and when you receive the items they fit awful. Well, these shorts are the one exception. I bought them in large because everything I ever bought from Amazon is too small and they fit comfortably right. They are a nice length ( I am short) and I can absolutely were these out without feeling like I am showing too much. I could have very well bought medium but I still have my mommy tummy which I like to hide with loser fits. If you want comfort and a more relaxed fit buy a size up. If you want a tighter fit that is still a nice sexier fit stick to your usual size. ... show more

I bought me 3 sets of these shorts before I went to Florida to visit my daughter for the winter months....the black set, navy and black, and grey and black. I am a 2XL top but an XL bottom. These shorts fit me just how I like them....fit but not tight and they didn't ride up or roll down over my tummy. Would definitely recommend if you are not a fan of Jean shorts or just want a comfy pair of functional quality cotton shorts ... show more

I wear a size 4/6 and bought a medium and these are tight around my waist and pretty uncomfortable. They are short and cute looking on me so I love the style. Some shorts I buy on here are very frumpy looking. I did keep them but I will use them to walk in not sleep in since the tightness is uncomfortable.
