It’s recommended by our nanny. Very soft and great for summer in air conditioned rooms. Our baby gets hot easily so this blanket is perfect. Quality is great and size is good. It’s actually better than the named brands so I bought two packs to have different choices as the print is very cute.

I bought these when my son was 6 weeks old. He is now almost 4. They were perfect for a light weight blanket when he was little and now are perfect blankies to snuggle with. They have become a source of comfort for him. He wraps himself up in them while he sleeps and because they are breathable and lightweight, it doesn’t cause concern for suffocation. They have held up so well with lots and lots of washings! These arrived super fast as expected. The patterns are super cute and trendy. They are thin so they’re a nice lightweight blanket for summer weather — but they’re also big so there’s plenty of fabric to double up, drape, or swaddle a larger baby. As for the quality of material, they’re not as soft as 100% cotton muslin blankets… but for the affordable price, it’s a decent set to keep in rotation if you find yourself running out of clean ones. ... show more

Update: These are by far the softest swaddles he has. They are extremely light weight and airy. They are too thin to use as a car seat cover (don’t block out light), but I use them a lot as a nursing cover in public. That being said, I can no longer let my son play with them. They’re so thin, that they’ve become a serious choking hazard. He was playing with one (while I was right next to him), and he suddenly sucked it into his throat at started choking. Best believe I pulled it out of his airway so fast! I absolutely would not recommend having these around older babies. Original Review: I ordered a pack of these swaddles for my 2 mo old son after seeing them gifted to a friend. These swaddles are extremely light weight and airy. I live in California where it can get extremely hot. My son is like me, where he radiates heat. It’s evolutionary advantageous in hot climates, but it also means that you can easily overheat when bundled up. Because of this, we don’t use these swaddles in a traditional manner (though they work well for it!). We use them as a light weight blanket to keep him from getting cold when the AC is on. He really likes these swaddles and is extremely comfortable when we use them. The bamboo/muslin combination makes these swaddles more eco friendly / sustainable. The only complaint I had was that the swaddles were extremely rough to the touch when I first opened the package. I considered returning them but then remembered that bamboo can soften after washing. I threw all 4 in the wash with his laundry, and they can out quite soft (and continued to get softer with additional washes). ... show more
