Ordered this pack of 3 frames in preparation for an art fair. I tussled with framing my first picture because I kept seeing shadows on the matting. I repeatedly cleaned the glass and then finally "diagnosed" a brad show-through from the frame's backboard (the frame holders are placed on with brads through the backboard). I tried taping the brads, I tried putting another piece of paper in, nothing worked. Then I spotted the two pieces of cardboard that the seller placed between the frames for shipping. Cutting them in half, I placed one piece of cardboard between my matted painting and the backboard. It worked!! Plenty of room, no show-thru our shadows. I was ready to resign myself to a less than perfect presentation but now, the frames look wonderful, the paintings are presenting well and I can honestly say I will be purchasing these frames again.

11 x 14 Frames holding late 1890’s and early 1905 reproduction 8.5 x 11 photo’s of Philadelphia. This idea of buying 3 frames for these photo’s started when I saw a set of 3 frames at Staples for $30.00. The following is my review of these 3 11 x 14 frames: Selection: Impressive. So many mix and match options it’s almost dizzying. As others from Amazon told me, for my 8.5 x 11 photos the 11 x 14 is the better option than the 12 x 16 which states it is for 8.5x11 wirh Mat. Yes there is some of the photo around the edges that is not seen but to me that’s better than the backing of the frame being seen if or when the picture were to shift. Again great selection. Don’t be afraid of the 11x14 for 8.5x11 photos. Price: I don’t think you’ll get a better price deal, with any company, unless their quality drops in some way. Or you get them at a Prime event. That original $30 at Staples is not too car off for what the market is asking. Quality: This is where I couldn’t give that 5th star. From a distance they look great. And if I ever have a home invasion I’ll wing one at the intruders like a chinese star with blades. The corners will cut off their heads. The plastic is so hard that the corners are really sharp and pointed. Do not place over anyone’s bed. In addition to the points of the corners where each side meets the other there is a bevel up or down, meaning it’s mot smooth on one of the three, the Liberty Bell frame. And lastly as I was unboxing and putting in the photos I noticed abrasion marks where some machine pushed so hard that it scratched the back portions of the frames. Please don’t misunderstand me. I believe quality checking does occur. I think it could be improved and you know I think something can be done about the corners were there so sharp. I know these things because on one of the Vikings there was a misaligned rivet or one red it fell out and they put in a new one so on the picture frame with the buildings and the lighter buildings there you can see a hole where the red it was had been and somebody did the quality control, checked and found out that there was missing one. The hole is along the bottom portion in the left-hand side. You can see it if you blow up the photo. So I say all these things because I saw somebody else mention quality, but he was talking more about the facts, and how the wall hanging portion those you know those little grabbers are not in the same position on every single frame, and I will have to look out for that myself so obviously there are some quality control issues but he didn’t really mention the same ones I found out so that’s a another thing, so are they worth lying? Yes, I don’t think and I don’t think I put them in a child’s room or anywhere they could accidentally fall off and hurt somebody. I’m not sending them back and I don’t want anything from the company. They are what they are, mass produced plastic frames. As comparison, because I like frames, the larger almost poster like photo with its frame was a custom made frame made by my local frame maker. She’d be disappointed in me for the 3 that I purchased. And I’d say to her… - Shhh. If you’re not paying for them, or giving me a better discount, then you get no say in this. The photos are off my floor, in frames, and they didn’t cost me so much that I had to go without food for the week. These 3 are perfectly fine. - Will submit more photos when I decide which wall. I buy a lot of picture frames and specifically wanted 3 for the wall. I don't like when they have the easel back on a wall frame as it usually makes the frame protrude from the wall and doesn't sit flat. This was the best price I could find and you can never be sure about the quality based on a low price point. The frames came nicely packed, glass intact, the corners on the frames all align perfectly which is usually the issue that sinks the frame. The mat is a little thin but not a problem. No marks or blemishes on the product. They are a little light weight but perfect for the wall. I would purchase these again.

The price for 3 frames with glass inserts seemed too good to be true. I was so pleased to find out how nice they are. I gave 4 stars because the placement of the hooks are lower on the backing than what is normal. It was a bit challenging placing the hook over the nail head but it can be done. I would recommend.

The little swivel-y parts that hold the cardboard on the back of the frame to the perimeter of the frame are super easy to rotate with your nails, barely any pressure necessary. As someone who has bought many frames over the years, I really appreciate this (as some frames I've had to use a hammer to move the swivel-y things!) The frames themselves have a nice, clean, minimalistic appearance which really makes whatever you're framing shine. Highly recommended, especially for women.

I bought the 11x14 to fit a 8.5x11 certificate. I had to cut approx 3/4" off the mat to fit but it was easy and the frame is beautiful and sturdy with glass and sturdy tabs to secure backing.
