I have a folding chair that likes to slowly sink into the sand with its thin legs and small feet. Surprisingly, the manufacturer, Cliq, doesn’t offer wider feet, so I was searching for a solution when I came across these pre-cut tennis balls. It looked like it might work, so I decided to give it a try. Well, I’m happy to report that my sinking problem is solved! I had to cut the slits about a half inch longer on each side in order for it to fit over the existing feet, but once I did that, installation was easy. I compared these balls to a real tennis ball, and they are slightly smaller. Sure, I could have just cut up some tennis balls, but I much prefer a more subtle color than neon yellow, and the pre-cut design made further modifications super easy. Overall, these are high quality balls that feel like they’ll last a long time. If you’re using them for a walker, they do slide easily. And if you have a sinking chair problem, these might work for you too! I’m 100% satisfied and wholeheartedly recommend them!

I got these for an elderly woman at my grandfather's care home who was embarrassed to be seen with basic tennis balls on her walker. (She said they made her look unprofessional). I was a bit upset that her caretakers were ignoring her concerns, silly as they were, and I felt it was a very small ask from a woman approaching 90, so I got these for her. She was delighted and now thinks I'm the most thoughtful "young woman" (I'm middle aged, lol) and says my grandpa is lucky to have me. Which is true - he is! These upgraded "professional" gray balls work perfectly on her walker. She can slide it easily, or pick it up and place it down with very little sound. They do not cause the walker to slide away from her either, which was a concern of mine so we tested them thoroughly before I released her back into the wilds of the care home halls. Great product to help an elderly woman keep her own image of dignity, even if it doesn't make a lot of sense to the rest of us.

These walker balls have been a great upgrade. They feel very sturdy, and the material is dense and well made. I did have to widen the pre-cut slots a little to fit my particular walker model, but it was easy to do with a simple cut. On hardwood floors they glide smoothly without scratching. After using them for a while, I haven’t noticed any shedding or fuzz coming off the material, so they seem like they’ll hold up well over time. If your walker has slightly larger legs than the standard size, be prepared for a little trimming. Other than that, these are a solid product that protects floors and moves quietly and smoothly.

We use these because my father has been unable to move himself around well, and he can't scoot himself into and out of position at the dinner table. We can move him, but with his weight on the chair pushing into the floor, it's quite difficult, and it's damaging to the older linoleum floor. With these balls, the damage is not an issue, and scooting him is also easier (though from experience, we know that the felt does wear and the balls need to be replaced). These balls are slightly smaller than some others, but they fit just fine. The opening is cut with several slices, rather than just an X, so it is easy to push things through. If the price seems right, recommended.

These are much tougher than the tennis balls typically used for playing tennis. I had been using regular tennis balls, but they wear down quickly and develop holes. These durable balls are specifically designed for use on walkers. If your walker already has rubber feet, you may need to remove them to attach these balls. Each ball has a crosscut designed for the walker legs, but depending on the rubber feet you have, you might need to cut a larger opening or remove the rubber foot entirely. They slide easily across the floor. I also appreciate the muted gray color instead of the bright yellow of regular tennis balls. I want people to notice me, not my bright yellow tennis balls on my walker!
