I got these to use with my swim kids -- we have a running joke about throwing tennis balls at them to make them faster. Although I don't actually do that, it makes them laugh when they get one as a reward. These come three to a plastic sleeve, in a white box. There was no strange smells when opened. They are a nice size and a solid color. These are slightly heavier than other tennis balls I have used in the past. The red color does transfer a bit, but I expect the fuzz shedding will stop with a little time.

I got these balls to put behind my bad back. It feels better when there's pressure on the tight spots but my thumbs get tired. I've used tennis balls before with success, but these are a lot firmer and they feel great. I like that they are red so my dog can tell the difference. They're just too hard on her teeth. The only draw back is the smell. After I opened the box it was, as another review said, like walking into a tire store. After I used them my hands felt like they had been coated with rubber. My shirt smelled pretty bad, too. I'm hoping the smell will dissipate soon. I pulled all of them out and set them on a counter to air out. So far I think it's working. When I went in this morning it wasn't nearly as bad. They're going to last a long time, too.

I am a tennis beginner and I need some tennis balls for practice. These balls are too heavy to play with. The regular tennis ball is less than 60 grams. But these balls are doubled the regular weight. And they are also harder than normal tennis balls. So I don’t think they are not good for tennis practice. But they might be good for pets as others reviewed.

I ordered these to use as myofascial release balls. First, they are SO heavy. A lot heavier than standard tennis balls. Very hard and not a lot of bounce. But the main issue is that these had such a horrible smell that any bag, car or box I put one in was way too overpowering for me. I threw every single one of them away.

I have a dog who loves to play fetch. She has a habit of chewing on the ball out of excitement and for regular tennis balls they always break in half inside the lining so I wanted something that wouldn't happen and they would last longer. This was just that. They are heavy and sturdy. They are great to throw and has yet to break in half. I think they'll last a long time!
