I received the new and improved model last week and have taken it to my local pickleball court. Takes less than one minute to open & be sitting in the chair. Putting it away is just as quick, no tools needed , the pieces easily slide down to a very compact size. It fits in my pack pack easily. Several of my friends tried taking it down and back up, even my petite female friends could do it w/out assistance. When I was on the court my adult son tried out the chair. He weighs about 200 pounds , it held him comfortably and he loved that it rotates 360 degrees. The customer service is first rate. I ordered the original chair last year and had difficulty getting the pieces to extend and snap into place. They quickly acknowledged my email and promptly refunded my $. I was informed that a new improved version would be coming out which addressed my issues. I am so happy with this new version. If you are looking for a comfortable , sturdy , lightweight, compact chair this is for you. I see lots of portable chairs at the pickleball courts and mine is the only one that rotates 360 , makes it super easy to follow play. i bought two of the original chairs for my wife and i. we loved them from the start. i had a leg break on mine and the company was quick to reach out to me with a full refund and were thankful and appreciative of my input on the chair. they told me they were working on improvements and would let me know when the upgraded version was available. i ordered an upgraded version and am impressed with the changes. the legs are made of thicker material and the overall feel and stability of the chair is superior to the original. my wife's original chair is still working fine but she wants an upgraded one now also. lol we drive a two door jeep and wanted chairs that packed small enough to take and quick and easy enough to set up for quick trail breaks while being comfortable enough to warrant taking along in the first place. we have purchased several different type/brands of chairs over the years but none of them met all the criteria mentioned above and got left home or given away to friends to try. the tcek chairs meet and exceed that criteria. they set up effortlessly in seconds, pack small but offer complete comfort and stability. they are the only chairs we bring along now, even on extended camping trips. try one. you will love it. even if you don't for some reason, this company stands behind their product and will do what it takes to make their customers happy.     • Quick to fold&unfold, very sturdy chair.
Its a bit heavier than my ultralight chair but its also much stronger, just as fast to setup or take down and the swivel is a very nice feature. The lack of a cupholder is a minor issue because with chairs like this I would usually set my drink on the ground next to my chair but with the swivel I'm likely to spill it by mistake. And you have to be a bit careful where you set it up, if it isn't fairly level then the chair can tip over especially when you swivel. If you place it on level ground but one or two legs sink in to soft soil then it will likely tip over. While it's 1.5lbs heavier than my ultralight chair it actually folds up to about the same size which is very nice. Overall I would recomend the chair. ... show more

Opened the chair and sat down, was very comfortable camping chair, as I stood up chair snapped apart and bearing came apart at the swivel. Nut broke off. I'm less than 200lbs.

Only used once, but exactly as hoped. Very easy to set up & put away. Only minor complaint is it seats you in a relaxed position. This is great for the campfire, but not as great for sporting event. Would recommend

Chair good enough to get me to write that it's a good chair, very comfortable and swivel is icing on the cake. Hair under 4 lbs so no lightweight but not so heavy you can't throw it in your day pack.

Great for when you need something compact but weight isn’t as important like motorcycle touring. Comfortable but nowhere to rest your head. It is sturdy too.
