  • Great tool for general wax buildup, quick and easy to use.
Color: Black
I have a history of my ears getting impacted with earwax. In the past, I would have to go to the doctor and get it removed. I got a different electric earwax remover a couple years ago and it was very messy to use because I got water everywhere. I saw this earwax removal tool and thought I would try it out since it looked easier to use and less messy. At first, I was skeptical because my left ear was very irritated and I knew it was impacted. I tried using eardrops and this removal tool to remove the wax. I probably tried 20 times and it wouldn’t budge. I thought this tool was a lost cause until I tried it on my right ear. A few chunks of earwax came out on the first try, so now I know this tool definitely works! I would likely have to go to the doctor to get my left ear checked out. Based on my experience, this will probably work well on less stubborn and softer wax. After I get my left ear fixed, I plan to use this for maintenance so I don’t get impacted ears. In addition to removal in general, I think there are a few other great features about this device. First, I like how it charges with USB-C and has a very long battery life. Second, it’s great that it has a temperature indicator. I didn’t find myself getting dizzy from this device because this tells you the exact temperature you need. I also found the water pressure to be pretty good. You can choose from normal, strong, soft, or pulsing. I didn’t feel that any of them were overly strong or uncomfortable to use. Lastly, I found the device pretty easy to use. I just leaned my head to the side as I held the device to my ear. It wasn’t uncomfortable to hold in position. I also found that the water didn’t leak much out of the cup that you hold to the side of your head. I obviously got a little bit of water on me because you are dealing with water after all, but it wasn’t anything excessive. I would recommend this to anybody who has issues with wax buildup. ... show more

  • A good high-tech solution to earwax removal, safe and effective
Color: Semi-transparent
A pretty good device for earwax removal for those of us that have chronic earwax issues. It has temperature sensing so you cannot use too hot water, fits over your ear, cleanly and with no leakage and seems to be very effective and nontraumatic. The temperature sensor is important because too hot or too cold or water can cause pretty profound dizziness. ... show more

  • Effective and Convenient, Works Best with a Softener First
Color: Black
The KAUGIC Upgraded Ear Wax Removal Kit is a well-made, convenient device with some great features. I really like the rechargeable battery, which makes it easy to use anywhere without constantly changing batteries. The built-in water temperature sensor is a smart safety feature—it ensures the water is always at a comfortable temperature. Plus, the fact that it’s FSA/HSA eligible is a nice bonus. One thing to note: it works much better if you use an ear wax softener before cleaning. I didn’t get much wax or dead skin out using just the device alone, but after softening the wax for a day or two, it worked much more effectively. My only real complaint is the instructions—they weren’t very clear and could definitely be improved. I had to figure out how to use it through trial and error. Overall, it’s a solid product that does the job well with a little prep. Definitely a good option if you’re looking for an at-home ear cleaning system. ... show more

  • Actually worked, I was shocked!
Color: Semi-transparent
I purchased this product after experiencing problems with clogged ears. Sounds were almost completely muffled in one ear and the other was okay but not great. I wasn’t sure if I had a wax build up or a hearing impairment issue due to my age. I purchased a Bebird ear camera which confirmed that I had a large wax build up, completely obscuring my ear drum. I tried multiple ear wax softener products but I was not getting any results. I simply couldn’t flush it out. I could see via the camera that the ear wax was getting softer but wouldn’t actually flush out with a standard bulb. It seemed hopeless without seeking actual medical attention, which I was trying to safely avoid. I bought the Kaugic device as a last effort. I followed this process: I used Debrox for 4 days, 2 times a day, “without flushing” (just draining). After 4 days, I used the Kaugic flushing device. On the first try, nothing significant seemed to come out but after several flushes, and rotating the nozzle in my ear during the procedure, suddenly huge amounts of wax started to flush out. I was shocked. My ears were clear again. I could now see my actual unblocked ear drum in both ears for the first time. I couldn’t believe it. My hearing came back to normal completely. The key thing I learned was “nothing works after one treatment” as I see on some ear wax softener product advertisements (I tried Ear Wax Md, Debrox etc...nothing worked on its own.) I started the new process and dilligently stayed with it for 4 days, and had success. Once I cleared one ear without injury, I did the second ear with the same results. I almost gave up but the Kaugic device gave me a proper flushing tool that was not painful and actually worked. Moving forward, I will check it regularly and try to maintain it with fewer flushes. If you have heavy wax build up, don’t expect it to flush out after the first try (Unless you are lucky). Stay with it. I flushed 5 times, then rested my ear, and came back another few times but suddenly large chunks of wax flushed out and then I continued to flush a few more times until I stopped seeing wax. I was restored to normal. The Bebird camera was key as well as it allowed me to see my progress and ensure that I wasn’t stressing my ear canal. ... show more

  • Two days of hearing loss washed away by this little tool.
Color: Semi-transparent
Let me start by saying what got me to buy this product. For a few mornings after sleeping on my left side, I wasn't able to hear as easily out of that ear. But what got my attention more was hearing a pop / sticky sound. I knew that my regular cleaning wasn't cutting it. This was not the first product I purchased after that. I jumped on and got a camera device with scoops and other attachments. That one did a great job for what I was able to reach. The problem I had was a deep clog of my ear. And it ran deep, so the further I went the more scared I was to mess up my ear drum. And on top of that, the last time I went in to try and clear things up. I might of pushed the wax the wrong way but I couldn't hear clearly after that. Maybe it was because I couldn't scoop the offending wax I'm not sure. And that is what got me to buy a water based removal tool. After looking around, I settled on the Kaugic because I didn't need to hold two things to catch the water flowing out. I worked the day this was delivered but upon getting home and immediately opening the package. I needed this to work, going two days with my ear not working great wasn't starting to be painful. It took a little time to get the right temperature. Once that light turned green I put the cleaner to my ear and braced myself, unsure what I was about to feel. And boy was I right, it felt weird having water rush in, hearing the motor hum gently. But it was not painful. I let it run about 5 seconds and took it off my ear. That was a mistake, the water didn't have time to drain fully into the waste tank. Put it back on my ear and another 5 seconds, only this time I tilted my head to the side and let it drain. Kept going until the tank was empty. After all of that, I still wasn't able to hear. But the reality was that I just had water left in the ear. Because inside the waste tank was a chunk of wax along with on the top of the cleaner because it couldn't get through the opening. I grabbed a silicone bulb sucked out some water. Grabbed a cotton swab and ran it around just inside my ear and everything opened up. At the end of the day, no pain and just a little weird feeling of water gushing into the ear and I am able to hear properly. At the end of the day this worked great. I don't know if it would be able to do the entire job since I had two tools. But it certainly finished the job and would say it's worth a try. ... show more

  • Received used product Received used product
Color: Black
Under other circumstances I would have immediately returned this item; as it was received used. The contents of the box were not in the packages and were all over the box. The product itself was not clean and had small hairs all over it, clearly used. Unfortunately time was of the essence and we needed to use it sooner rather than later for a very problematic ear issue. So it was thoroughly washed and sterilized prior to use. The Q-tips that were unsealed and floating around in the box were obviously thrown away. Giving 3 stars because it is a good product, and it does work well. But I am thoroughly put off by the condition in which we received it. ... show more

  • Great Product
Color: Black
This was just right to clean out my ears. Wish I would have gotten this sooner because it does a great job. Didn't make a mess like using the syringe and the different setting was a plus. I saw some of the photos posted on here about how much wax they removed. There is no way I have that much wax. I was like I wash my ears every day but I was wrong. I was suprised about how much came out with ear I was having trouble with. It was this specific reason I bought this. Very light and easy to clean up afterwards. ... show more
