These were easy to install since they snap in with magnets (I thought it was funny that they come with a 4-step instruction guide), and they are maybe a bit stiffer than an original brand-name pair but otherwise I hardly noticed the difference. The price is reasonable for these to be a decent replacement if your ear pads are getting old and dirty. I will note that there seemed to be a straight hair embedded in the back mesh of one of the ear covers (see photo), and a strand of glue hardened across the hole where the IR sensor would be when installed. I risked tearing the mesh but took care of both with a pair of fine tweezers. ... show more

My old AirPods Max ear cups were showing signs of wear and tear, so I decided to look for replacements. Apple's replacements are notoriously expensive, so I opted for these. Let me tell you, if you put this set next to Apple's, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. They're just as comfortable and breathable as the originals.
