  • We love it!!!
Color: 20 Chicken Eggs
My kids love it, so am I I bought this for my kids just to let them understand the greatness and preciousness of a life. Not expecting too much, but I do see how my kids take really good care about the whole process. They scrambled to add water, to check eggs, and I even caught my wife checking the machine at the middle of the night. Unfortunately, 3 of the eggs didn't make it, so I let my kids bury them in the backyard. I can see their grief, feel like it's a little too cruel to them as they are under 10 years old, but I believe it's also a good lesson. After all, we got 15 chicken hatched. At the day the chicken were born, I've never seem my kids that happy. ... show more

  • It doesn’t hold the temperature
Color: 20 Chicken Eggs
At this point I have tried several incubators, and I have to say that this one, although not the worst, it’s #2. I am very disappointed with this product for several reasons. 1- the calibration is horribly wrong, and I mean by 10 F. I had to get four different external thermometers and they were all off by 8-10 F less than what the machine is saying. 2- the temperature doesn’t hold same in all places inside the chamber. Ex: all four external thermometers I put inside, I put them in different corners, and another in the center. They were all giving me different readings. 3- it does not keep the heat steady inside the incubator, why? Because the product is so badly designed that all the edges of the transparent box are not tight enough, leaving gaps between the box and the base. The solution they give you in the instructions is to leave the styrofoam that came in the box around the product, and to cover it with a towel or peace of fabric. Really??? 4- the humidity reading is also completely off compared with the hygrometers I put inside. In fact, this incubator has no way to control the humidity. I could keep going, there are many more bad things to add, but I hope at this point you, my fellow buyer, are convinced that this is not a good product to buy. Needless to say that I am returning mine. ... show more

  • Decent little incubator
Color: 12 Chicken Eggs
I have two incubators . The other one is larger than this one and holds the temperature well, but it is made with a Styrofoam case around the outside to help it maintain temperature and I have to remember to add water every other day. The temperature on this one does seem to be a little off. I put my own temp/hygrometer in and it's always a degree off. Because of this I have been using my other incubator for most of the process and then the last few days moving the eggs to this one so I can monitor them without having to open the lid, and the automatic watering is a huge plus! A regular water bottle will fit in the watering base provided. The 4 cups that come with it are odd. Ive had others like them that would automatically keep the water level of the cup the same, but these aren't working like they're supposed to. I didn't read any instructions though so maybe I didn't set them up right. I didn't need them anyways so it's not really a big deal. ... show more

All but 3 of my eggs hatched!

  • Bad thermistat
I like the design. The clear cover makes it easy to see inside and watch the eggs hatch. But the thermistat and humidity controls are way off. I put 2 thermometers inside in 2 places and to get the temp to 99.2 I had to set the incubator temp to 104. So can't trust its temp gadge. It was also hard to get it to set and stay. I have 65 quail eggs in it now will see how many I can get to hatch. I do like the way you put water in for the humidity so you don't have to keep opening the lid. And waters will come in handy when they get older. Also don't like there is no way to contact the maker on the how to operate packet. The first 2 pictures are this incubator with cover and I had a big blanket still not correct temp. The 3rd pick is my older incubator same thermometer. It is perfect. They have sent me another incubator same issue. Any idea how to adjust temp. It will only go to 103 on theirs but still only get to 97 with my thermometer. ... show more

  • Works great
Color: 12 Chicken Eggs
I like the fact that it's maintenance free. Just make sure there's water in the bottle. It rotates automatically. I hatched six chicken eggs and have six more in.

  • Not as advertised
Color: 12 Chicken Eggs
This arrived very quickly but I did not receive the 4 waters which I didn't need anyway. I set up the incubator and the automatic turner does not work. The motor engages but it does not spin so I turn by hand 3 times a day. I also bought a hygrometer/thermometer combo which is very important because the incubator does not read the correct temp. I'm incubating duck eggs which require 37.5°C or 99.5°F. I have to set the incubator to 39.5°C to reach that temperature internally. The water bottle dispenser is terrible. You will have water everywhere. I took the bottle off and just pour a little water directly into the dispenser when needed. I made the mistake of dumping an entire bottle of water into it to start but was reaching over 80% humidity so I had to dump some out until it was able to level off at 55%. I now only need to dump a little into the dispenser at a time to maintain proper moisture. This item does incubate eggs although I can not attest to how well as I haven't had a hatch yet but it is not as hands-off as the description implies. I would like to add that the seller "albuming" contacted me after this review with an apology and was very supportive. I would certainly not hesitate to purchase from this seller again and would like to thank them for such great customer support. ... show more

  • Usless.
Color: 20 Chicken Eggs
This is the most useless junk I've ever waisted money on. It worked great, once. It isn't hold temp at all It doesn't regulate humidity so far I've hatched a total of 5 eggs and those were all from the first run. Do yourself a favor and do not buy this.
